I want to give this a try. But when I cqme to the part when Kat met Alucard I laughed a bit when she orders him around, and it reminded me of Inuyasha. XD

The song that immediately came to mind for me: "Strange Sight" from teh Movie Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast. If that doesn't encompass this relationship, I'll eat Alucard's hat!

5 years later and I am back to read this again

Her referring to Alucard as perfect pushed it a little for me. Amused me a bit.

Story is decent and has good grammar, but Kat is a bit one note. Stomping anger can get old fast and she does it frequently.

This is a brilliant story that I've thoroughly enjoyed reading.

What I would have said to "...And nothing you ask of him will countermand my orders. Remember that only Alucard is not able to hurt you." "Yeah but I could just order him to protect me at all costs even his life, or maybe just simply tell him to kill any threats to my safety." Then walk away like a boss and order alucard to follow me.

Awe man! I was hoping to see what happens for the gender bent couple! That would be an awesome chapter to read..lol ; D

Oooooo. The Paladin actually gets to rescue someone for once. Nice.

I really like the theme of Alucard's 'song' that you've presented throughout the story so far. While there are some technical errors peppered through the chapters, it is a take on the world and the characters I haven't seen before, which is nice.

Somehow I don't think Anderson would be too pleased with the Archbishop's 'real' plans...dum da dum.

I really do like how the story follows the circles of the curse. It gives the readers a focus to follow and guides our curiosity.

I know what it's like to look for reviews. They really help fuel the writing energy, that's for certain. Though sometimes I worry that people aren't critical enough. Oh well. I would definitely say that Alucard's snobbery gets him in a lot of trouble. Or, rather, gets the people around him in a lot of trouble. But it makes sense.

I'm noticing a few tense issues here and there in your story, but otherwise it has remained intriguing so far. I think I must have missed something in the two animated series since there wasn't much indication there that Enrico Maxwell was a lech; perhaps there was something more about that in the manga.
