And that's the downside to living all alone, you may have to deliver your child all on your own. The idea of Aang shaping an oasis is neat, kind of like an extension of the zoo at Ba Sing Se.

This story captured my heart completely. It's so full of love and the best fruit of it. The moments after Kya was born is so beautifully expressed. I find myself just as equally moved as Aang and Katara over beholding their new born child for the first time. Truly precious.

This was so beautiful! Thank you so much for writing this. The sentiments conveyed in this story utterly warms my heart. All the dialogue between Aang and Katara was treated so wonderfully true to their characters. I just adore the constancy between them that you portray in their stories regardless of the varying circumstances they face. In this story, all of the conversations are beautiful but I am particularly fond of their dialogues during Katara's labor right through the end because it highlights one of the most endearing aspects of their relationship for me. These two are so well matched and I like that you perfectly maintain that integrity here.
