I don't know what to comment on first. The fact that Bella is being a bitch to Edward or Edward's response is to propose.
Bella wants to get rid of Edward so bad she calls Emette to help but then she's pissed when he makes himself scarce. How hypocritical does that sound?
Edward went through a whole night not knowing what happened to the love of his life. Hours of not knowing If some psycho snatched her up and if she was alive or dead. She needs to cut him some slack. Then she goes and threatens a break if Edward doesn't feel the way she wants him to feel? That doesn't sound much different than a woman withholding sex if a guy doesn't fall in line, just plain wrong.
Edward of course shouldn't have left a not saying he would be gone for the weekend. The whole weekend? Seriously? What the hell is wrong with him? Then when Bella isn't falling in line he proposes? That sounds like a great way to fix their problems, brush them aside and get married.
