I found this ages ago, but since it was incomplete and had not been updated I thought it was left like that and didn't start reading it even though it sounded really good.
and now, once I noticed it was finished, I started reading it right away despite all the other stuff I should be doing.
and it was good. really nicely tied into the real tsubasa, and yet having a personal and fresh touch to it. I liked how you described things and how you solemnly kept it at kurogane's pov, finally making him be more than just a crumpy guy in the black who likes fai and what I liked the most was the good amount of teasing and chasing, not over-the-board-kurogane wants to kill fai-stuff.
it was a nice and good ride.
and albeit it is sad, it was in a way right that the kid fai died. but I like to think that the little yuui's life is different from the mage's (and neatly played with the mage so it didn't get confused with the child fai) and that ashura may not go crazy there. because that would also be right.
but yeah. I liked it. thanks once more for writing this :)

It was so sad though... it almost killed me to see Fai-chan dying before he could see his brother. And Fai breaking down completely made me want to hug him.

Wow... to be honest I completely forgot I was tracking this story. But! As soon as I opened up chapter nine, I remembered why I liked and immediately went back to the first chapter and reread it xD thanks for finishing it! That takes dedication, to take it up again after so long! Now you have me all curious about mini-Kurogane now, though, *pouts*

Poor Fai-chan... angsty chapter is angsty. Poor Fai... he had to watch his counterpart's twin die. It looks like Fai's will always die with a Yuui by their side. Also, interesting last chapter. Of course it would be Fai who named Kurogane, considering he almost never calls Kurogane by his full name and instead uses Kuro-chan or Kuro-pyuu.

It was kind of sad to read everything went similiar manner in the end, but I think it was easiest way to do... So, the last chapter was like a revenge from Fai's part? *Laughs lightly.* I think those two are now even...

Oh god, what a story. I fell in love. (This'll be a long review, fufufu.)

First of all, I like how the story is mostly from Kuroganes POV. Even though I know about Fais past I was dragged into how unknowing Kurogane slowly gets more bits and pieces of information which seem unrelated at first and tries to put them together, not always right too. It's good that you don't spill all of the secrets right away (I've often read stories where the author builds suspense and then everything gets out at once because Fai (being OOC) suddenly admits and explains everything and the fun is over way too fast). The slow dragged-out way is much more fun. :) I like Kuro-pi making up theories like a ninja-detective.

Storywise, it has a good amount of details describing the situations and surroundings without becoming boring. Though perhaps a little bit more? Because for example I always see Fai-chan and Yuui-chan walking around in their Valeria clothes, but they probably don't wear those, huh? (That suggestion is just a personal opinion, maybe others like it less detailed. xD) Anyway, story has good pacing and goddamnit, you have a knack for getting just the right wording in important situations and building suspense. My fav scene concerning that is the confrontation between Kuro-pi and Fai and where Fai-chan says that he would never leave Yuui behind. Aw man, I swear I could feel the figurative bitchslap to Fais face just as much. Total "oh god" moment there.

Everyone's also IC though I really didn't expect Fai to react so cold and detached to everything. I thought he'd do everything in his might to prevent another pair of unfortunate twins to be separated since he experienced the pain himself, maybe even going so far as to use magic (this gives me so many ideas, fufufu). But your version is interesting too and I was as curious as Kurogane to Fais reasons.

The fate of the twins swept me away. ;-; I really like them and their close relationship and Yuuis antics with Kuro-pyon are fun. I have little faith left, but I still hope they... might get a happy ending? All in all, this story caught me. adds to favs I'm even tempted to draw some fanart for it if you allow it and I find the time.

So, the final question (guess you knew this was coming xD)... do you plan on continuing?

I hope so, because this awesome story and the twins deserves an ending whether it's sad or happy. (I personally have nothing against waiting a few months, half a year or longer for a new chapter as long as it doesn't get dropped completely.)
