I love Sammy! And I loved this story! Finally Sammy was the hero, it was he who saved the family and the boy deserved it. He always worked so hard and always lost in comparison with Dean. I missed Dean, Sammy can never hide his preference for his brother, here it seems that he is still more connected to John, he still believes in his father and his way of life, but he is almost beginning the contest phase. I was happy to elude a few moments of happiness before things got bad for good.
Congratulations on writing so well from Sammy's point of view, the story was really good.

Actually the first 911 call was made Feb 16 of 1968. This is one of my favorites, I read it all the time 3

One of my all time favorite supernatural fics! I've read it a bunch of times, and recently it just popped into my head and I tried to find it, but couldn't remember what it was called. And then today I just stumbled upon it by Jane, and I'm so happy! You're a talented writer, and you've got both John and Sam down perfectly!

This was great. Go, Sammy! You get help like a good boy, Sully Dean trying to walk or help. though to be fair his brain was rather addled at the time. Very good story!

I love this. John's delirium and nonsense orders were breaking my heart. I kinda wish that Dean had been in the car, even if unconscious. (or at least within view on the road, like if he actually had went through the windshield) I dunno why, I just wanted him in the situation. Sammy was so cute! This is so heartbreaking/warming Oh my God, I just can't.

I liked your story. The one thing you did wrong though was talk about 911. When Sam and Dean were kids there would be no '911' cause '911' didn't come around until 2001 when the terrorists attacked the twin towers. September 9, 2001, hence '911'. But yeah other than that it was really good and I would probably suggest it to other people.

This was so beautiful. Wow. The Sam POV was perfect and you really managed to capture the right balance between the stern, military, order-giving John and the loving-father-to-his-boys John. So many fics seem to lean too heavily toward one or the other, but you actually made him a multi-dimensional, layered character. Good job! I'm definitely going to check out some more of your stuff.
