Please don't take this the wrong way...but Shyle's parents seemed kind of fake. I mean, mine would think I'm crazy if I told them all that.
All in all this story is awesome! You've managed to keep everyone in perfect character. Not many people can do that, you have a gift my friend. Thanks for writing this! I am enjoying it immensely!

This is without a doubt my favorite Yu Yu Hakusho fanfiction I have ever read (and I have read them for over 10 years). All the characters were like themselves and the story was very well written. I spent the better of the last 24 hours reading this story and I'm sad that it's over. I really truly loved it and I'm just in awe of how in character everyone is. Usually one or even two characters are OOC to make the story work or whatever reason...but not you...it's...I'm just blown away. The plot was interesting and though I do wonder about what happened after the end you gave us, I'm so happy with how you ended it. Amazing work. I will for sure recommend this story to any and all who are a YYH fan (especially a Hiei fan). I'm sorry I didn't discover this sooner! :)

As much as I would have wished for an epilogue( epilogues give me a feeling of closure) I thought your ending was perfectly acceptable. So, I mentioned earlier that I usually wait for the end of a story to write a review, it's very seldom that I write what I'm thinking while I'm actually reading the story (unless of course it is incomplete and I only have a few chapters to base my thoughts off of), but I found your story to be incredibly compelling. You had a full story line that wasn't rushed in the least (I absolutely love that, too many fan fictions don't particularly care for the nuances involved in falling in love and yours had a nice pace :) ) . I also loved your characterization, many people will write new actions for characters without thinking of the motives behind them, and, while there would be a certain amount of oocness with Hiei of all people falling in love, I felt that you made it fit with his premises magnificently well. All of that coupled with your linguistic abilities made this story absolutely thrilling and enjoyable! If there were some kind of ranking involved with the stories that you can have as your favorites on this website, I would definitely place yours in the top tier. I applaud you, and look forward to browsing the rest of your works for equally excellent stories!

Oh, P.S. While I don't share your enthusiasm for the Backstreet Boys, I love all of the other music you've listed and have more than a few of those songs on my own iTunes!

Ohmygosh, you like Tamora Pierce too?! I've never met another person whose even heard of her! And you probably wrote this fanfic a while ago( I haven't looked at the date) so you may be done with all of the Mortal Instrument books for all I know, but those are pretty good too :D. Although, it is my personal opinion that Cassandra Clare should have stopped after City of Glass, but whatever.
Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that I am enjoying your story tremendously thus far. Usually I wait till the end of a story to write what I thought about it, but I just wanted to tell you my thoughts at the moment :)

I just have to say, this is one of the most well thought and well written YYH Hiei/OC stories I've read. I loved the way the relationship between Shy and Hiei developed so beautifully. You are truly a gifted writer. I'm terribly sad to have reached the end and would love to read a sequel if you ever chose to do one. It would be wonderfully fascinating to see what happens next in the gangs lives perhaps a few years forward. Then again, it would still be fascinating to see how Hiei and Shy's new life develops now that she will age as he does. Also, I must say that I liked how you incorporated a bad guy into the story to spice things up and get the ball rolling between the two, but didn't make the gang fall under a constant barrage of enemies like many people tend to have happen. Rather making the story focus on the development of the the two's relationship, which is exactly what your summary says the story is truly about. Congratulations on a job well done! I will miss delving into the world of Shy dearly. I'll keep an eye out for the new story you are intending to write, which I'm sure will be just as good as this one. Ok, so I know probably hear this kind of thing a lot, but let me just say that I truly love this story. To put it simply, I can never read an actual published book more then once with out getting bored two paragraphs in, and I have read your story nearly 15 times... I even printed it out and keep it in my book case for long trips away from my computer lol

I hope you can find the time to write another story for Hiei and Shy :) or even a new story all together for any character. I normally stick to Hiei/OC, but I am sure that I would love ANYTHING you write :D

So yeah, now that my embarrassing fangasm is done, I'm going to read Superman again haha

Just got done reading chapter 12. Who is Nanami? And omgosh. You brought Kurama and Hiei together at one point in your story. This changes everything...normally I'd read OC's that stay straight, never gay/lesbian, but I guess this isn't that bad compared to other writers' stories, you know? But seriously, I love your story so far nonetheless. Great plot. I can picture it in my head :)

I liked this story very much. So much in fact that i am, indeed, adding it to my favorite list.

God I love this - no, seriously. I haven't found any YYH stories that really hit me after reading Graphospasm's Future Talk, but wow, this is just so my speed! Finished your story and had to say this one really pulled me in! I've been reading for hours wondering what was going to happen next. I know I've sent quite a few reviews so I won't expand long on this. Everything you did to this story was great, the characters, and main characters, everything! You didn't drag it out to long or make it short, you made it flow so the person reading doesn't get confused. Though what I do wish what would have happened was Hiei and Shy's night as mates together and possibly a little further into their new relationship together. Cause Hiei was waiting for this moment, but it never happens to be shown in here. But besides that, it was great! Hope you make more stories!
