This is a pretty interesting story so far. I like Den's character, particularly the ways he contrasts with Obi-Wan. I can only imagine how he would interact with Anakin, though! They seem like they would either be best friends or instant rivals. I like this older version of Obi-Wan as well, and I still can't tell where you guys shift on who's writing :) Thanks for sharing these chapters, and God bless!

I hope you come back to this some day! I love the relationship of Obi-Wan and his Padawan, and that Obi-Wan, while upset about his relationship with Qui-Gon, is not a miserable, broken man over it as in some stories.

Ok, it is official: I love the way you two write! (And might I just say what a lovely collaboration this story is?) Your handle on the characters is spot-on, and the way you use both dialogue and description to move the story along is wonderful. :)

I also love how you hinted that Den reminds Obi-Wan of his old childhood rival (unless I'm way misunderstanding that section, lol)...Den's character is a fantastic OC, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of his 'quirks,' as well as Obi-Wan's relationship with him. :)

I love that last part from Den about the fact that Obi-wan still won't admit that Toorga is a sack of slugs. I can't wait to see how the relationship between Anakin and Obi-wan unfolds in this fanfiction, assuming that this mission perhaps leads to something between the two of them other than what is depicted. Hopefully, Obi-wan comes to an understanding with both Qui-gon and Anakin.
