Reviews for He Is
Asdfghjkl chapter 5 . 9/15/2013
Great job!
Misty Blue chapter 5 . 9/4/2012
Ah, that He is. That He is. Love, life; above all else. He is everything good, everything right. What a wonderful, wonderful piece! You've defined Aslan through the Pevensies' eyes, and in doing so, we, also get to know Him better. And understand, too. Great, great fic!
Skandar-and-Georgie chapter 5 . 8/22/2011
So beautiful! They each discover a different aspect of Aslan and he makes them that in turn by their knowing him. Perfect!
Caleon chapter 5 . 9/16/2010
Oh, Mokat, what a lovely series of character studies. You picked some really nice scenes for reflection, too. Tying them together with Aslan as the sum of their parts was just beautiful. Peter's chapter especially brought tears to my eyes. Very, very nice, and respectfully done. Bravo!
MonkeySaru chapter 4 . 4/26/2010
Nothing short of one of the most beautiful things I have read on here to this date, both in style and in flow. I'm extremely pleased to have found this and peeked in to see what it was all about. Really, really nicely done. Thank you so much for writing it.

Schmo and Sushi chapter 5 . 3/14/2010
Buh. I loved it - the whole thing. You surprised me every time! :)

Metonomia chapter 5 . 10/27/2009
Wonderful - a lovely ending to a great story. I liked how you glossed over Susan, promising redemption but not going too much into that. The piece is about their love for Aslan and his utter AWESOMENESS, so this ending tied it all together really well.
Metonomia chapter 4 . 10/27/2009
Magnificent! (hahaha)

This has been a really lovely little story...oh, wait, there's more?

Oh. Well, in any case - the Pevensie's reflections on Aslan have been spot on to me, and I really like, as I've mentioned before, how you manage to capture complex emotions and thoughts without going overboard. Very nice.
Metonomia chapter 3 . 10/27/2009
Fantastic - the juxtaposition of Lucy's utter fear and Aslan's courage is haunting. The Narnia-reader doesn't often think of Lucy as scared or weak, but this draws that out and at the same time heals it in a way - if she can see this, she can bear anything.
Metonomia chapter 2 . 10/27/2009
AMAZING. You really have a knack for pinpointing feelings that are difficult to translate into words.

I particularly liked the line "once a traitor, always a traitor" - I don't know if it was intentional, but it drew my mind to "once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia". Whereas the one - Edmund the traitor - will be healed and forgiven and to a degree NOT always be true, the other is indeed abiding, and the key is that the latter comes from Aslan.

I loved the description of how Aslan is terrible, but that terrible-ness is not a bad thing.

Loving this story!
Metonomia chapter 1 . 10/27/2009
oh, wow, I'm so glad you hopped into the NFFR chat! This is fantastic so far!

Susan's feelings about Aslan are wonderful - the chapter is deep and poignant without being too overdone, and the descriptions are straightforward but powerful.

And I love the trend I am sensing with Aslan embodying the titles of the monarchs.
tatzgirl2 chapter 1 . 10/14/2009
I love it!
Borwyn chapter 1 . 10/3/2009
You know, you're the 5th person TODAY that I've told this story idea is OLD! (And it's only 8:00 in the morning!)

But I must admit, this is actually better than most I've read!

Keep up the good work!
Queen Su chapter 5 . 5/11/2009
Wow! This is splendid! :) Awesome work! The epilogue and all of it is well written. Great job!

In Aslan's Name,

Queen Susan the Gentle
SpangleyPony chapter 5 . 4/22/2009
A very well writen story and very well thought out. I especially like your epilogue as you wrap up your story as well as getting your final point across without it dragging on forever and a day :) Hope you continue to write
