I have no idea if you'll get this but I would just like to thank you for this wonderful story. There is this amazing blend of the familiar laid back Methos of today with the chilling storytelling of the past.
I found all the details facinating and the twist at the end with that the interviewer could be pre-immortal really tied everything together.

This is so good. I come back and read it every couple of years hopping that there will be another chapter. In fact its one of the stories that finally made me to decide to become a member of Fanfiction.

You really do need to add a 10 year anniversary interview. I'm sure that the interviewer Alice and Methos would have some new perspectives to share after 10 years.

Hey, I liked this, but there's something i need to ask - read this brilliant fic where Methos WAS Spartacus, it was awesome and such, but i can't for the life of me find it again! Do you know what it was called/th author? I remember that there was an old Roman that challenged Methos that had been writing comic books and had a mortal friend, and that Methos won in the end - i would owe you so much if you knew where it was! I've been searching for weeks!

Nice! At first, I was doubtful about the interview format of the story but as I read on I thought, "Wow. This is actually pretty good."

I also loved that you put in that bit where Methos allows himself to be judged by the morals and ethics of a society that will never be able to understand the world he lived in. I hated Duncan for just throwing away their friendship on the show. He didn't even bother to think about what exactly was the context in which those events transpired.

Even more than that, I hated Duncan for practically worshipping Darius who had a history as checkered as Methos especially when Darius changed not of his own free will but because of a light quickening. Methos changed by himself and I think that says more about him than anything he has ever done in the past. Certainly more than anything Duncan can say about him.

Brilliant! I love the style, the tone, the setting. Overall great! You portrayed Methos beautifully, something that's very, very rare in fanficdom.

PLEASE WRITE MORE! For the love of god just write ... write ... Not to sound all pathetic and all but..., THIS IS THE BEST FIC OF ALL TIME, IT IS AN INJUSTICE LEAVING IT UN FINISHED! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS WONDERFUL UPDATE IT!

I like! Really cute! I did one of those video interviews once, about my high school, for a friend in a video class in another high school. Went on and on about the school's history, wandered in topic, oh yeah, just like that. I think it ended up as a screeching, giggling girl sleep-over type fight between my fellow torture victim and the torturer... and me, but then, I hid behind a sofa and threw pillows.
