Maybe have some SasuXFemNaru in the beginning with minor ShikaXFemNaru on the side as a little closer than just friends, then after Sasuke leaves Shikamaru is the one who's there for Naru? Because as popular as SasuNaru is, I'm getting really sick of the pairing whether it's straight or yaoi. I like them as family though, Sasuke and Naruto could never be a couple, their relationship is a bond between brothers.
