As pointed out in the reviews for this chapter - I too love the way how it feels like a good crime/mystery show. You really know how to set a setting here.

And not only is Walt feeling a sense of familiarity of the brothers, but Don in return. Very interesting. I know what happens already, but I just love how they tie in with each other.

I'm rereading this - I've lost count at this point.

Just like the first time I've read this, I loved how you reel the readers in with this opening. The 'unknown' connection between Walter Simmons and the Eppes bros. I recall the feeling of eagerly wanting to know what the connection is.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything here, but I do have to agree with the anonymous reviewer about Charlie looking like a college student. Knowing the season that this story sets in, he does look like his age - not a student. I ignore this part because it's not really a big deal - and I'm sure you're not gonna change this story anyway.

There are a couple of errors here and there throughout the story in terms of punctuation marks, but again, this story was so enjoyable and mostly well-written that I could see past it.

Anyways, I figured, while I am revisiting this journey, that I'll leave a review for every chapter, since this story is quite deserving.

Fantastic story I loved the portrayal of the brothers

I read this story oh... Must have been in '09 out so when Numb3rs was still on the air. I dropped out of the fandom but just discovered it on Hulu again. I remember LOVING this the first time around and finding it a second time...I love the awesome plot, the characterization is amazing, and you've absolutely nailed the Brothers Eppes!

What a well done story! The plot, the characterizations, and everything else was truly amazing! I could not put this fascinating, exciting tale down until I read the entire work in one evening. The emotional roller coaster all the Eppes' family and friends went through was so raw and realistic, it felt like I was there, suffering with them. But, the way you wrote the brothers and their struggles to protect and save the little girl was over the top!

So, excellent job w this - very well written. I enjoyed the story and the suspense. Have been missing Numb3rs a bit recently, and I'm glad I ran across this. Thanks for writing!

I've never reviewed before but I just wanted to say that this is the best fanfiction I've read! You stay true to character and your writing is excellent! It felt like an actual short story-from your descriptions to your dialogue. Nothing was rushed nor was anything needlessly elongated. I enjoyed every chapter!
