That was a lot of fun. You should write a similar story from Tom's point of view. How did it feel to be in Janeway's body? He probably spent most of the time touching "himself". LOL!

The identity confusion at the beginning is very well done, though I wish you had elaborated more about the failures of language. Janeway's admission about her observations was very well done.

Too funny for words! It was great fun to read how it slowly dawned on Chakotay what Janeway had actually admitted and how she then pretended she had no idea what he was talking about. :D But I absolutely loved how Chakotay's casual admission got her attention and probably wiped a smug grin off her face.

Well, I was expecting to laugh aloud, which I did. But I was not expecting to have my heart melt a little. How did you do that?

I, too, think that they'd engage in some fun flirtation, and only Chakotay could ask such questions. I love the mental image of his eyes twinkling as Kathryn got all flustered about the things she noticed about being in man's body.

The declaration of love surprised me as much as it did them. That was really sweet.

Chakotay's fire hose reference gave me a chuckle

What a delightful story! I really enjoyed the banter between Janeway and Chakotay, and the comment about "garden hoses and fire hoses" was hilarious XD

I'm really glad that I stumbled across this, because I've always wondered what happened while Janeway was in Tom's body, so thank you for providing some insight into that.

Great episode addition. You captured them, as always, very well. I in fact can imagine Chakotay asking something like that. Hell, I can see the whole scene happening, because you described it so perfectly. Considering all their banter and flirting when they were alone... it's not that unlikely...
