Il'Diko chapter 2 . 7/21/2011
I liked this a lot. You nailed them. I imagine (don't know, because I don't write), that it must be hard to write about the trio, but you managed to capture their personality and expand it too. I loved to read about your Hermione, she was more girly, than ever in the books... (I expect it was because the books were in Harry's POV, who, according to Jo -and me- wasn't in love with her). Ron would see her differently. I loved that you showed much more of them, we saw very little Ron/Hermione conversation or interaction in the books.

Also, reading this was as if I was reading some special edition of the books, with missing scenes in it. :)

You actually write very good Ron/Hermione and Ginny/Harry (didn't miss their moment here), even if you don't like them that much (read your profile!:).

I'm favoriting this! :D

Polar Deer chapter 2 . 11/5/2009
Alternate Ending:

His hand shot up in the air and he began wiggling around in his seat. "Ooh Professor, Professor!" Ron shouted in an imitation of Hermione's voice. "When can we learn how to do everything as perfectly as Hermione? Is there extra credit for that?" He smirked when her smile instantly disappeared.

Not so funny to be made fun of, is it?

Before Ron could think of something else to say, the bell rang and Hermione stood and bolted from the classroom, leaving her belongings scattered on and below her desk.

Great. He'd made her little snit worse. He was probably in for a screaming fight the next time he saw her. Sitting back in his chair smiling faintly he noticed Flitwick was looking at him. Glaring at him, more like. Shocked, Ron reared back; he had never seen the little professor so angry before, tufty eyebrows furrowed and stumpy nose crinkled. The room seemed terribly silent all of a sudden and though Lavender and Parvati and several others remained Ron felt as if there were none left in the world but him and Flitwick.

After nearly an eternity of agonizing wait, the professor's head moved; an inch to the right and then an inch to the left, his dark eyes boring into Ron's, and then he spoke.

"Uncool."

Ron's soul was instantly wrenched from his body and cast into oblivion while he limply fell into the fires of hell, his scream of mingled pain and terror forever etched into his face.

FIN

Really though, I feel a bit bad for Ron. He does come around eventually.

This was so sad.

On the plus side, you got the characters down pack right. It was wonderful. I really enjoyed reading this.

verity candor chapter 1 . 5/13/2009
I like it a lot. You've got Ron down really well (and thank you for not making him a bumbling idiot- really) and the dynamics of Ron and Hermione's relationship is done nicely too. Cheers!
Red chapter 2 . 4/27/2009
I loved your story and the way you described Ron its so acurate !
Tessa E Harrison chapter 2 . 4/17/2009
Beautiful. Simply beautiful. I usually like to critique but I can't really find anything that can be worked on and perfected. It's sad.

I'm definitely going to be reading more of your works.
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot chapter 2 . 4/17/2009
I take back the comment I made about the ending the other day. This worked so well here. Don't mind me, I might have been in a contentious mood.

My favorite line in this section? "In the back of his mind, he wondered if he'd made Hermione cry again." That was so good, and such a lovely seal to that scene in Charms/Transfiguration.

I loved that Ron was getting some, but the whole time, he's completely preoccupied by Hermione. This just blends in so well with canon, it ain't funny, and you truly write Ron brilliantly!

As Christopher would say-Brava!

An interesting perspective on the very awkward start of Ron and Hermione's romance. Very cute, keep updating
Rita Arabella Black chapter 2 . 4/17/2009
As usual, you brilliantly complemented JKR. I especially loved Ginny's reaction to her brother. Classic!
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot chapter 1 . 4/17/2009
Oh, you did awesome with that inclusion of Ginny/Dean/Aliens moment ;-) Great work. Once again, I know I said this to you already, but I love how you write Ron. You really got him here, with the exposition, the dialogue-and such a good balance between the two. And I really loved the bits of conversation with Ron and Hermione preceding the last section. Truly like two people who like each other, two teenagers, but who keep getting their signals crossed, their messages mixed.

And the last paragraph. Ron to a T.

Absolutely great work!
