I completely forgot this was in my library and I’m sO glad that I remembered. Honestly you continue to just fucking bloW me away at how insanely good at writing these sorts of fics you are. Not only did you write such a wonderful and captivating insight into Remy’s complex mind, but you did it in such a way that you gave away enough information for us to understand every turn and every plummet of his thought process, his need and desperation for control, but you also didn’t reveal so much that it made the narrative boring and the plot obvious and predictable.

I loved the connection between Jean and Gambit, a duo you don’t really see often but you managed to write perfectly. With Jean stepping into the almost parental figure as she starts to learn more about him and his powers, I would’ve loved to have seen that relationship grow.

And goD the romy is great as always. Albeit few and far between, each moment with the two of them was so accurate and so damn good and enjoyable to read, that it really makes me wish this had been continued. I have a lot more to say on the Rogue and Gambit front, but I’m still digesting the content so its safe to say that the whole thing was just really fucking great.

I loved this fic a lot, and its clear you put a lot of time and effort into it, both research and written wise. It was really enjoyable to read and I don’t think I can find a single flaw in it, as usual of course.
