Hot. Also, I like reading Vlad's perspective and just how different it is from those in the past few chapters. I daresay you've captured all the characters quite nicely; at the very least, you understand them and they don't seem the same or blur into each other at all.

Sex to sparring. Flip-flip goes the switch. Honest - if useless, considering it's been nearly a decade and you're undoubtedly a different person by now - criticism: Repeating the same moves over and over again gets a tad boring. I wonder why this tends to happen in fanfiction?

On the other hand, I kinda hope she does because staying silent is something that often enables the silencing of IRL abuse victims and even though this is fiction a character can still be a good example. Man, what a different chapter that would've been. The Danny-Investigation-Gang concludes that Uncle Vlad is just helping Dan-o with his homework. They leave and it's another victory for my team: Team Love**

Funny how they'd be totally justified if you hadn't presented Danny as "finally listening to his feelings".

And the way Jazz can't make herself explain all at once... I love that. I felt that.

And the brilliant thing about this mindset Danny's friends have whipped themselves into is that they won't believe anything he says, will they? They won't stop until they've completely pulverized the boy's heart. Because he's "not in his right mind". Oh honey. Oh, Sam. The only thing that'll pierce you more than a secret girlfriend or a Vlad Violation is the fact that Danny-boy chose his worst enemy over you.

Ugh. I read the other reviews. I know this isn't a satisfactorily ended story. I tried to mentally prepare myself. But I'm going to miss it.

I also just want to comment on the incredible contrast between this chapter and the previous one. "Way to go, Vladdie" actually got a sick grin out of me, just because of the sheer irony of Danny's dad saying that about the man who'd given Danny an ass-pounding for the ages just one night before.

Lemon to family life, like flipping a light switch. God damn, it was more comfortable in the dark.

A new antagonist rises! Holy shit, this got too real. Compared to the fluffy, sweatless smut, this chapter was unsettlingly solid and seemingly rooted in reality. The best way I can describe its effect on me is to say that it's like you dropped a boulder into my arms after having me carry a marshmallow. Fekin' heavy, dude.

I get why you said you sucked at writing romance. At this point in time, back in 2009, it's worse than your other writing, if not terrible by General Fanfiction standards. That is to say: Your regular writing is good while your romance is just okay.

Man, I honestly just came here for some quick heat. I don't even watch Danny Phantom; I just saw Butch Hartman doodle Vlad on YouTube and thought "oh no he's hot". What the fuck am I doing, rooting for a full-blown romance when I just came for the cocks?!

You know, you started off this story with "hey look I can write this ship in a non-rapey way" but... Man, the one where Vlad kinda takes advantage of Danny's Christmas-party-drunkeness is waaaayyy less creepy than this. Danny being 15 here totally adds a different, uncomfortable element to things. He's 15, Vlad, you should know better.

Maybe I'm just reacting this way because the 15y/o finger-sucking hits a little too close to home for me, personally. Still. I'm-a gonna keep reading. Creep factor and grammatical hiccups aside, this is a good story so far. Thanks for making it, truly.
