I started reading this fic about a year ago, and devoured all the available chapters over a period of a couple days. What started out as a search on my part for some lighthearted TC/Skywarp fun ended up leading me to this incredibly emotional and well-written exploration into their character dynamics, and I couldn't be happier. This is by far one of my favorite stories, and I was elated to see that a new chapter had recently been posted. (So elated, in fact, that I got off my lazy ass and made an account to finally favorite and review it! My apologies for not doing so earlier.)

Your portrayal of TC's introspective and brooding nature is spot on, and Skywarp's transformation from innocent youngling to hardened warrior is both unsettling and entirely believable. And I couldn't help but feel sorry for TC, lost in his own silent lamentations of losing Skywarp to the war as he walked the halls of the Nemesis, feeling completely and utterly alone, unaware that even then Skywarp was watching him over the monitors with honest affection.

I loved that you worked the events of AHM 12 into the latest chapter, since that is, in my opinion, one of the most important and defining character moments for Thundercracker in all of TF canon. And the aftermath of it all, with Skywarp's anger at the perceived betrayal turning into a wonderfully tender and intimate display of comfort, was heart-wrenchingly beautiful. (I'd also like to take this opportunity to say that the sky dancing scene in the previous chapter was probably one of the most romantic moments I've ever read.)

Although I'll be sad to finish this story, I am excitedly looking forward to the final chapter! :)

Oh my God, you don't even know how happy i am to see this update. I've been following this fic since about 2011/2012(?) and it's still one of my absolute favorite fics ever written.

I'm so sorry for never reviewing this fic. It makes me sad to realise that I've been reading this fic for years without ever telling you that I appreciate this fic. ㅠㅠ

I really love all your characters. The characterization is on point, like, its so flawless and amazingly heart wrenching. I loved this chapter so much. It made me feel things I haven't felt from a Transformers fic in a long time.

I want to say so much more, but I don't really know how to word how immensely beautiful this fic is and how much I adore this.

Finally I had time to read this whole fic again and can leave a review for the newest chapter..

I like how much of the latest chapter was just TC reflecting on things. Sometimes having a character just sit down and spend nearly a whole chapter in their thoughts can be boring to read, but this wasn't the case with the this chapter at all. The flashbacks were interesting and the whole thinking-a-lot approach to worrying over someone fits TC's character very well, he seems like the type who'd sink into his worries and regrets and blame himself and reflect on past events.

The flashbacks worked very well showing how their relationship has evolved and why. I love fics where the main pair spends ages dancing around the fact that they have feelings for each other, hiding their feelings from others and themselves. I really liked the part where TC claimed that love isn't part of Decepticon programming and Skywarp seemed skeptical, because I took it to hint that TC's views of Decepticons and love might be at least somewhat exaggerated and actually an excuse he uses to keep his feelings at bay, while the biggest reason he's so afraid of his feelings for Skywarp is his fear of losing him. I don't know if that was intentional, but I liked it.

Anyway, a great chapter! I'm worried for Skywarp. And as a special mention, TC saying "You've faced worse than this." broke my heart. Ouch.

I used to check if this story had updated every month... Then, today I was talking about TC/Warp fics, mentioned this fic as one of my favourites and then was asked to share. I went to fetch the link and could not believe my eyes when I saw that there was a new chapter! I have no words to describe how happy I was when I saw this had updated, I think it took me a minute to realise I wasn't dreaming.

I really liked the new chapter, but right now I'm too happy to form an actual review. I will give you a one once I re-read the whole story and the newest addition, but for now I just want to thank you for still writing this great fic!

You are VERY good with story telling and it's so refreshing to have a GOOD story, one that doesn't rush onto the relationships and lets the characters come into full realizations with their feelings instead of the "Oh he held my hand *blush* in love now" stories that make any excuse to make characters fall for each other.
It's so hard to find fics of this pairing, especially done so god damn well!
