Reviews for Literary Giants
Port-of-Seas chapter 14 . 4/18/2007
Heh. So Kylen got all "GIrls are Spaghetti Men are Waffles" on him. And McQueen got to flex his ability to be kind of a jerk. I love hearing him chill enough to talk about mining equipment like Kaylee from Firefly.

Sorry it took me so long to get to reading this and reviewing it, but I gotta say I enjoyed it. And Amy's ill-hidden paranoia.
Port-of-Seas chapter 12 . 4/5/2007
Wow, McQueen can be pretty harsh, but I suppose he has every right to be. I love watching the way they relate to one another, jumping from dark to light to dark again.
Port-of-Seas chapter 8 . 4/5/2007
*Applauds* I have never, EVER, in all my years of fanfic reading found another author who actually used the word vituperation. That is absolutely fantastic, along with the other aspects of this fic. I'm shocked you don't have more reviews!
Port-of-Seas chapter 11 . 4/5/2007
It's kind of adorable how sweet and openly compassionate Kylen is compared to McQueen. I doubt Nathan would ever believe her if she told him she'd managed to give McQueen a kiss on the cheek.
Port-of-Seas chapter 6 . 4/3/2007
I just finished watching the show yesterday, and I've got to say, a true blue continuation fic is just the thing I was looking for. I like the idea that Kylen and McQueen find companionship in one another, even if a little awkward, especially for McQueen. Great story, so far. I love how they connect through literature!
colin chapter 1 . 3/26/2004
wow, superb. I'm only sad I've come to the end of it! Wish I'd checked the site out earlier.. it's great to relive s:aab again with some new [to me] ff.
Geek chapter 1 . 11/12/2002
Ok i reviewed this once before...just thought i ought to tell you i did e-mail the James Morrison site..and i told them your story is better than their's...LOL..hope you don't mind!
Guest chapter 36 . 10/13/2002
i have just finished reading from start to finish...over the course of several days..i can only say...wow! it'a absolutely fantastic...i don't know when anything has gripped me so much...i really cared about Kylen and McQueen..and thank you for not getting them together...how well you got into his head amazes me...i am so tempted to tell the James Morrison site that they should use your story as their season 2 version...it is so much better than theirs!

Thank you for allowing me to read what has been one of the best stories i have read in such a long time.. it was an honour to read it...
alliekiwi chapter 36 . 4/27/2002
It is past 11 pm and I have just finished the marathon read of your story. Fantastic! I loved the quoting back and forth between Colonel McQueen and Kylen... and the quotes were just so perfect. Also, how you had McQueen suddenly 'understanding the clay' and not needing his cane anymore, due to his connection with Kylen, and his new sense of self. Well done. Allie
Tig Grim Reaper chapter 36 . 3/16/2002
My God! Beautiful! No words can do it justice cause words are silver and silence is golden. This story deservence the gold
Jane chapter 36 . 1/12/2002
I enjoyed reading your stories so much. I hope you write many more. You have a great talent.
Una chapter 36 . 12/25/2001
Hi Wheels :))

Good to see you joining us here as well :) I always loved Literary Giants, and I still love it :) Very much a different take on McQueen but still all in character. Keep up the good work :)

Soledad chapter 36 . 12/16/2001
I've read this story quet some time ago, when it wasn't even finished and waited with anticipation for every new chapter coming up. After that, I've read Holding Up the Sky and everything else that was available from you on the Net. I hope, you keep writing them, they are wonderful. Not to mention how much I enjoyed the work of an author who had actually *read* other authors (and not the ones who write fanfic) before.
Lattelady chapter 1 . 12/15/2001
Your story is wonderful and moving. Very true to McQ. I've read the whole thing and loved each chapter. You created a wonderful character from the little is shown of Kylen. She is strong and beautifully done. Watching the man and woman move through those first months after their lives have been changed forever, is a pleasure. Your's is truely about defining moments.
