I found this to be a really fascinating idea—that some of the prominent (aka known to the readers) Atrox followers were actually religious before they were bathed in the cold fire. Overall, I like seeing the idea of what makes villains tick and what they were/might have been before they became villains.

Each vignette is nicely separated from the other and does not feel repetitive. I like how each one highlights their past (and in some cases) present thoughts and beliefs: Kelly considers that her decision to join the Atrox means that she has not been delivered FROM the evil, but TO it. Cassandra feels her bad decision to become a follower means that she really screwed up in the eyes of her patron saint. Tymmie was a reluctant worshipper who rejected God and religion long before he met the Atrox. Murray was raised an atheist, yet struggles to find some dim comfort in the famous Irish blessing. Stanton reflects on his human past and the days when worship and daily life were synonymous, as well as his intent to coerce Serena to join the darkness.

Karyl is the surprise in this piece as he still secretly prays before bed as a way to honor his late mother's memory. It was a nice humanizing touch for him to acknowledge that he thinks God will not listen to him but he does not want to give up that little connection to remembering the mother that he loved.

Concrit:
There's some missing commas, but nothing that detracts from the overall storytelling. I could send you those via PM if you like.

*claps* Bravisimo! Excellent work. Maybe it's my Catholic upbringing getting to me, but I loved this! I especially loved the last part. The children's prayer was just topped off the irony!

This wonderful, and fits so well with how I'd imagine their spiritual sides! Tymmie, Cassandra, Murray, and Karyl's especially (Karyl is definitely a giant woobie hiding behind that creepy lizarding thing he does) The latin prayer was a nice touch, and I liked the different prayers opening up each section!
