18lzytwner chapter 6 . 2/17/2010 Yay chapter! Well done. Glad to have Lindsay back. Danny just surprised himself didn't he? LOL |
afrozenheart412 chapter 6 . 2/17/2010 I could NEVER hate you for this, because I ADORE how we see how concerned Mac is about Lindsay and the teasing that he shows with her. I love Melty friendship! Not to mention how Stella is with Danny, she is the no nonsense sister that will protect the ones she loves no matter what. Favorite lines "A chance. She’s given me another chance to show her how much I love her and that I really want to be with her. I’m not about to screw that up…no matter what,” Danny shocked himself and his co-worker into a momentary silence with the magnitude of his statement. Not sure what to say next, the Greek woman thought it best to leave Danny alone to think about what he had just admitted aloud to her and, she thought, himself for the first time. “As my friend, I want you to be happy too,” she said quietly before giving his forearm a squeeze as she walked out of the room, leaving Danny to think about what he’d just said." And I am very sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope your mom, you, and Ryan are doing okay. |
pretty7 chapter 6 . 2/16/2010 The fact that this chapter is undeniably moving with a sense of simplicity of your idea transcended beautifully to the story. Another fact: We see the importance of friendship of Stella to both Danny and Lindsay. You have created, somewhere between the line, the beautiful 'girl' friendship between Lindsay and Stella and Stella taking in concern towards Danny's actions is nice to know. Another fact: I love self-realizations. Knowing you brought Danny's character towards this is utterly beautiful. The 'figuring out' of Danny on what he just said is exquisite. I have read self-realization kind of sense of Danny but this is something different. Another fact: I have more to say but I better stop . In other words, this is a remarkable turn to your story and you never disappoint. You never do. Great work! |
pretty7 chapter 5 . 2/16/2010 oh wow! um is it hot in here or what? This is too much to bare and the fact that I LOVE IT makes me crazy (can you even blame me?) Now I will do my best to have a better review. Swear. |
Shelbers chapter 6 . 2/16/2010 Welcome back :)I like the ending. We'll just Danny sit and chew on that for a while. |
laurzz chapter 6 . 2/16/2010 What a wonderful update! Although I was all, 'Oh no, what's going to happen' at the end and what not, and then he admits to himself he loves her. Why would I be mad? LOL. Yes, me personally. Really though m'love, this was fabulous - it was nice seeing them getting back into the swing of things regarding work. LOVED how Stella kept pushing the Lindsay subject. It's the fabulous part about fanfic; we can make Stella and Lindsay have that friendly relationship that the show (I feel) they don't do - which you do fantastically in this! I'll look forward to the next update, regardless of when it is! Anything of yours is worth the wait! :) |
Shelbers chapter 5 . 12/9/2009 Yay! You're back! I'm seriously considering using that excuse to get out of work, lol! Thanks for the chuckle...I really needed it tonight. *hugs* |
Hoot-Hoot-Ashie chapter 5 . 12/9/2009 You should not worry about your M rated stuff at all it was perfect! The perfect mix of HOTT and romantic! |
laurzz chapter 5 . 12/9/2009 Oh prple, how I have missed this fantastic story. Yes you were off doing the things (Yes, Consuela; it is you I am talking to) but when you come back; you come back in STYLE. this chapter was amazing. The whole love scene was written perfectly! It was just... perfect. I thought there was just enough detail, but written classily (made up word? possibly...). Just epic. And, your humour. Love it. Doesn't half make me giggle! I tell you! Whether you're back or it was just a sproadic chapter, I loved it. Fab job m'love! :) |
18lzytwner chapter 5 . 12/9/2009 Yay it's back! Danny and Lindsay and a little somethin' somethin'. LOL Well done. :) |
afrozenheart412 chapter 5 . 12/9/2009 The smut here is PERFECTION! I don't know what we are doing to get so much of it...but I wouldn't mind if it kept coming. ;) I adore how Danny wanted to get back to his Lindsay watching not to mention how he guided her head back to where it belonged, over his heart. Or that is how I see it. :) So Danny is still capable of landing home runs? Good to know. :D With the way she was playing with the hair on the back of his neck? That even made me shiver with delight. I love to see Danny and Lindsay touching each other like they can't help it. I loved the talk between Stella and Lindsay and how Danny wasn't himself. That he hasn't be himself for a long time now. One of the things that made me smile was the certainty that Stella had about Lindsay's temper. She may be quiet and calm but when it comes to someone she loves she is a firecracker. Plus, if Lindsay hurt or killed Danny it would just mean more work for everyone in the lab. :) "Lindsay had already revealed more about the situation with her and Danny in this one conversation, than she had revealed about herself in the almost three years that she had been in New York." I like how you caught that, we don't know that much about her life before NY or even when she came to the city what she did. There are a lot of great lines in here but this one takes the cake "You can tell him you had a sudden attack of anal glaucoma for all I care,” she looked up at him with a mischievous glint in her eye. “And what, pray tell, is anal glaucoma? Because, you know, he’ll ask that.” “You just can’t see your ass coming into work today,” she answered simply," THANK YOU so much for turning me onto yet another cool saying. I can't wait to use it. :D Excellent chapter! |
SallyJetson chapter 5 . 12/8/2009 Anal gluacoma - very clever and funny. Hot M chapter indeed - welcome back. |
laurzz chapter 4 . 7/26/2009 So, it took me flying to another continient to get some time to read this as a whole and well... totally freaking worth it! That's for sure. Seriously Prple, this was freaking genius! I loved it. I loved how they talked. How they REALLY talked; how there was nothing held back or anything like that. It was just - honest, open and everything they were thinking - which I know you were going for. Like really though, totally incredible. You definitely had them provisionally turn the page on this one. I mean with the ending of the chapter (which by the way was fantastic) they obviously turned the page, but I think it's gonna take a few more conversations to get them really solid - obviously, cause you know, sex doesn't solve everything. We knows that, right. haha. Basically, what i'm trying to say, is that you were totally right, this one was a heffer and deserved to be read as a whole with my utmost attention - for good reason. It was... wow. And, what better way to leave your chapter 'til next time? Awesome sauce, my dear! |
afrozenheart412 chapter 4 . 7/26/2009 THANK YOU! For working in the haircut and the bantering about the Red Sox! "If you don’t be still, the phrase ‘Red Sox Fan’ could very well end up carved into the back of your head,” Lindsay threatened, knowing that would get him." I loved that. It is great to see him relaxing and accepting the fact that he loves her and recognizing it. It is very fascinating that these two best friends could have boyfriends who are sworn enemies in the baseball world. :) I love how you touched upon Lindsay's fear of Danny pulling away from her again if something bad happened to someone he cared about. I would hope that he wouldn't but until it happens we won't know. I'm very glad that he is seeing a counselor to talk things out with and explore the reason behind the emotional responses. But what made me the happiest was that he didn't allow her to withdraw from the situation. It is one of the reasons I love Danny with Lindsay, he shows her that it okay to be herself, that she doesn't have to hide anymore. But you have my respect and my admiration in the way Lindsay doesn't throw the blame around aimlessly around. She knows the difference between what was right and wrong about the situation on Rikki stealing Danny's gun and both of them using each other. I like seeing the way Danny felt during this time, on how he felt that he had to "shelter you from the ugliness of the situation and to keep you from seeing me weak and vulnerable." But I can't help but think that if he had let her in, maybe both of them together could have helped Rikki, since Lindsay herself knows what it is like to lose a baby. I do hope that he knows that letting go of the pain, doesn't mean that you are letting go the memory of a bright and funny boy. He needs to set down that burden, and Lindsay will lead him into the light. The ending is wonderful, are we going to be getting an M-rated chapter on the next update or a naughty bits oneshot? |
luverofthings chapter 4 . 7/21/2009 How U doin? Nice! I've been at the emotionally raw place, where the only thing to do is to 'connect'. |
