Now I'm not usually a reader of Glorfindel/Erestor, but I thought I'd give this a chance, and I'm well pleased with what I've read. As I'm sure you know, the characterisation of Erestor is refreshingly different from the glowering, sulky, sarcastic librarian fanon has made him out to be. I think I like your perky, rambling Erestor better. He's much funnier and of course, it can easily be seen how our hero of Gondolin fell for him.

I laughed so hard when Glorfindel gave him the rose and all Erestor did was barge in on Elrond and demand that Elrond allow it to rain. Such a priceless misunderstanding. Oh, but Erestor's reaction to being thrown out of Glorfindel's room that first time had me in fits, as well as how efficiently he trashed the room. Overall, very nice and entertaining story!

Ah- LOVE your Erestor. It has made me look at him in a whole different way- I do think more Legolas and Erestor would be good- both have a sense of wolfish glee! And think how hot they'd be.
