Just came back to this amazing fanfic after a long time since I've been in a Pokemon mood for a while now and so of course I came to here and holy crap, it really has been a while!
I've been re-reading your fanfic and others as well, and I've gotta say, I think I like how you've handled Ash as a character in each and every chapter, including her emotional state all throughout, even more than I did when I first read this. I used to get irritated with characters whenever they would cry or have any sort of normal human reaction to what's going on around them but re-reading Loyal to the Game recently has made me appreciate the way you've written Ash - she's human, and is an emotional young girl, and acts like it, which is something I've found very lacking in other fanfics I've been reading lately. So even though I've read this story about four or five times by now, it's still a breath of fresh air to see Ash learn and grow and react to the world around her in such a realistic way :)
And if you're still accepting guys, then might I suggest Gladion, if I haven't already (he's pretty awesome and probably my favorite character in Sun and Moon), Hop (he was a bit annoying at first when I played Shield but throughout the game he grew as a character and oh man, he's my favourite of that game now - plus, he's super adorable!), Raihan (honestly, he's just super cool, plus he could play off Lance really well, with both being dragon-type trainers) and Bede (he was such an asshole at first but I grew to like him later in the game; he also might benefit in having a friend in Ash).
(I also think I requested for Damien to have a more positive role here? Oh dear, I can hardly remember now, it's been so long! After re-reading this, I thought to myself 'Wait a minute, I hope this doesn't mess up the story because poor Charmander was abandoned here!' But I watched the I Choose You movie recently and it has Cross instead of Damien being the abusive trainer...so there's that alternative. But hmm, I'm sorry if I made an impossible request back then!)

As for Pokemon, I would love Ash and everyone else's reactions to her getting a Polteageist, my favorite new Pokemon :) I also think a Ditto would be great for Ash to have, mostly because it would be interesting to see how Ash would battle using one

Hopefully you'll continue this amazing story when you feel up to it! It really is spectacular :D

I love the idea of Ash and Lt Surge becoming lovers, that is one of the best ideas I've ever heard! But if you write a love story about Ash and Surge, will you please not make Ash a girl? I think that the story will be better if Ash stays male! So will you please make a Ash and LT Surge love story with some love making in some chapters PLEASE? And please keep up the great work with this story and all your other stories too!
