Shouldn't the farmer be somewhat shocked? After all, The Emperor is a giant of a man, standing in a 4 meter department (he's much taller than Primarchs, who are much taller than the average, 2.5 meter tall Astartes). And if he was in route to battle, he should be in his walking, golden tank armor.

I rather like your characterization of the Big E, though the parts with ole sanguinius are kind of weird. Sometimes the writing itself also lacks polish, but the concept and characterization are generally good enough that I don't notice it. 3.5/5 (Good)

This is a seriously good story. Lots of detail and I really like the Emperor's introspections on *why* humanity should be united.

I like the 'close third person' viewpoint too, only describing in detail that which is unfamiliar to a character and leaving the reader to work out what's going on with things that are common-place to a character but new to the reader.

Try not to veer into exposition. Not that you have so far but too many fan-fiction writers do so.

Please, please if you can find the time, keep writing this.

This is the second time I've seen someone try and characterize the God Emperor of Mankind, it's probably because of who he is that people do not want to try and actively use him as a character, the only other time was in Solvrege's story Chains of Kindred it's a Halo/Warhammer story.

Either way, I like your story. I really, reall like it. Hope you continue it one day in the near future.

This is very well done. It's usually very difficult to mix the sci-fi of Warhammer 40K and the fantasy of something like Forgotten Realms, but you do it very well. I like it. Keep writing the good ones!

I like the concept of this crossover. I would be interested to see how it progresses.

Even though a lot of the DnD intrigue went over my head, a captivating story. I'd love to see this continued.

And this shows without doubt that the safest place to be in all the universe is right next to the God Emperor himself.
