I didn't realize this was going to be a Marauder era fic when I started reading it. I tend to stay away from them. I'm glad I didn't stop. I thoroughly enjoyed this. There were some grammar mistakes, oddly worded sentences, and the Weasleys kinda came out of nowhere, but overall, this was a great fic. I'm heading to your profile right now so I can find out what happens next.

I must tell you this was a thrilling ride. billy found this after it was complete, and read it straight through. I was at times flying, diving, dropping, roiling, and basking. Very well done! Then, as I am wondering about a continuation, I see this last bit. What a treasure! I'll download more next week when I get the youngsters back at school and have some more time. This is an excellent story. Love the well fleshed out characters and how they work with the plot. The only problems are minor internal consistency issues. At the beginning of the story Sirius's mother seems like a nice character while later on she goes back to being the at least half insane bigoted harpy she was in cannon, then Peter's parents go from having their own business to working for the Flo network. They are not major points but they are noticeable. Also Anwen can be a little Mary Sueish but you managed to balance that out so that it works in the story for the most part.

Oh, for fucks sake, Sirius! I love this story but he really is aggravating to the extreme, sometimes.

I don't usually read Marauder era stories if they don't involve some form of time travel and started this as i thought that the green eyes could be an hint at that (even if with a gender bending twist).
And now i'm here, quite enjoying this story and saddened and scared by the idea that there there is no way this may have a nice (as in non tragic) ending, sigh.

Okay, I just finished the first chapter and while I totally enjoy your writing style and creativity concerning swear words, I can't bring myself to read more, sorry. But Sirius Black, the Sirius Black, one of the marauder ringleaders, high of cool, Mr handsomely bored himself would not pay attention to a first year, maybe help her by listening and then making her laugh on a good day. He probably would get Remus or someone else to deal with first year tears. I also doubt he would get this... focused on any girl, but especially an eleven year old kid. Sirius turned 22 around the time he was arrested, meaning your Sirius will be fifthteen in a few weeks. The girls he would grace with his presence would be snogging age, to be crude. Also your awen is a little bit too grown up for a first year and her sudden changes from shy to James Potter teasing bold are not very believable. Sorry.
I really like the way you write, I adored Lilys pov and how you hinted about her family situation, therefore I am a little upset that your main charas are not really convincing to me :'(

This was amazingly great. Long, but great!
