Harry and Hermione make a wonderful pair _

I was just rereading some tales and obviously this was one of them. I was thinking while I read, and came to the conclusion that if there were some mistake made about Sirius staying overnight in the hospital wing, then it had to have been made by JKR. I mean Sirius is a wanted criminal who was to be kissed by a dementor on sight, so what chance would he have actually had of gathering the old crowd when so many of them were aurors and or ministry workers who all still thought him guilty of the crimes he was incarcerated for. It makes no sense for Dumbdraws to send him out into the night.

"He was beginning to think that this was Hermione's plan so she wouldn't have to watch Ron eat. Ron's eating habits, even with Hermione's jibes, had not improved over the nearly four years they had known each other, you could dress him up, but you couldn't take him out." - EW, I agree totally with Hermione on the not wanting to watch Ron Weasley eat thing.

"The pair of them still fought like cats and dogs and he couldn't see Hermione wanting or deserving that for the rest of her life … or more to the point Ron's life since she would probably get frustrated and kill him sooner than later." - Hehehe.

They kept staring at her until she knew all hope was lost, she turned to re-enter the Castle." - Thank Merlin it worked, eventually, anyway, hehehe.

"Harry, pull that brain of yours out of your arse and start using it." - Well said, Padfoot!

"Once she arrived in the Owlery, Hedwig was awake and spotted her immediately. The Snowy White Owl hopped down to a lower perch in front of Hermione making up her mind for her. "Harry is so lucky to have you," said Hermione to Hedwig. The owl bobbed her head in agreement," - Hedwig, you vain...er...healthy-egoed bird, hehehe.

"I think I know what kind of blood wards he used at that house and if you're willing to donate a pint of your blood to spread around the ward stones and boundary line, I think it will work and you won't have to return there this year." Harry gaped at Sirius, wide eyed and asked, "Why didn't he say something before? I will gladly donate all my blood to not have to return there ever again!" - If only I knew it would work as protection, you could have had a pint of MY blood even, Harry!

"He knew she could probably hex him into a Unich if she had half a mind to do so." - The correct spelling for a man who has had his reproductive organ removed, is spelled "eunuch" (though your spelling indicates the correct pronunciation of that term nicely).

"hey, I want to try out this idea of you sitting in my lap and snogging me senseless" - Hehehe.

"pulled a set of pyjamas out of a nearby cabinet and dropped them on Hermione's bed." - Stripy or patterned PJs? And which colour(s)?

If a dog could be said to have a smirk on his face, this one certainly did." - IMO Snuffles is not only smirking, but on the inside laughing his head off AND feeling terribly sad at the same time that Prongs and Lily cannot see what he is keeping watch over. Or maybe they can see? Who knows? He is most certainly going to tell Moony (or show the memories in a borrowed or even the Black family's pensieve?) at the earliest opportunity, IMO.

"That old Witch back there," and he pointed with his thumb towards the Nurses Office, "She has probably forgotten more about healing than most of the Healers at St. Mungo's know. She used to teach all their Healer trainees in everything except Dark curses. By the end of the last war, she had seen too much death and had to get away from it, Albus offered her a position here. I've been told that St Mungo's had to hire three Trainers to replace her." - Yay for Madam Pomfrey, even though reading those sentences has me now tearing up quite a bit.

this is a really good 2-shot but I think it's a great beginning to a whole story. You could go into depth about their summer together and the such. I think It would make an amazing story. Well think about it.
