The Sakuras in your stories reflect the anger I felt reading the original manga, watching the boys reach godhood, while the girls reached nothing but mediocre housewifery, crushed under the finger of a sexist author. I still do not know why I stuck with the manga for so long. But your fanfictions are a brilliant response to the unfair amount of weakness that the female characters were saddled with in order to make the boys look good in comparison. This story is worth a read, even unfinished. Itachi pulls no punches. |
