I think that maybe this is my favourite oneshot. There's still the odd twang of humour, but Kaiba is so much more tender in this one and I thoroughly enjoy seeing that side of him. When he's soft and gentle, it's beautiful - no wonder it leaves Yami breathless, ha? It's a really rare side of Kaiba too, which is why Yami is always so surprised and appreciative when it comes out. Slowly but surely he's opening Kaiba's heart.

Kaiba certainly has lots of traps set out around both his company and his home. From fake walls that lead to garages, an elevator with an uncertain ending, and an entire mini-apartment concealed within his office? That boy certainly does think of everything and his security is second to none. Those are pretty elaborate schemes. Clever Kaiba, clever.

The idea of looking out over a city at night is always phenomenal, no matter where you are. I suppose that have an extremely attractive boyfriend staring out at with you would do nothing to help. ;) I was glad that Kaiba took advantage of the moment instead of simply keeping his business head screwed on.

Oh, and I liked at the how start how Kaiba was so frustrated about having to go back and retrieve the file while Yami kept assuring him that it was all okay and that he didn't mind at all. I've been on Yami's end a few times and it seems that no matter what you say, it makes no difference. But good on him for trying.

Okay, so first thing... I think it's amazing that you've got the Kaiba mansion set up with so many traps. The 'more traps than a pyramid' comment from Yami also made me smile. One little thing, though on word choice (and I noticed this in the story right before this one as well): 'bemused' means to be bewildered/confused or lost in thought/preoccupied. Just putting that out there.

“Probably not,” Kaiba told him with a bemused snort while pushing the button for his floor. -Just as a quick example, I doubt Kaiba was giving a snort of confusion, though it is possible he was slightly preoccupied with button-pressing.

The notion that Kaiba has fantasized about taking Yami against the backdrop of the city makes me wonder. Did Kaiba have a time set in mind? A city by night looks much different than one by day, and sunset/sunrise changes the picture again, as does twilight/dusk hours. Night certainly makes a city look the most lively.

Heh. Trust Kaiba to worry about keeping the window clean. I don't see why he couldn't order someone to clean it up...or they could toss a coin to clean it. I mean...they shouldn't leave TOO much of a mess... Then again, I suppose it is the boys, and 'supposed to' hardly matches what DOES happen. :D

I never quite know what to say about lemons, so I make this short: I liked the story, especially Kaiba's refusal to lift the office ban, even though the temptation was undoubtedly there. Although it makes me wonder if they do anything else beside having sex in their leisure time.

When Seto and Yami are involved as you have them here, Sex is bound to be in the picture.

Up in Seto's office too. I loved all the secret entrances and other special effects. It made it more interesting. You are right though. This is one chapter that can stand alone.

I do wonder if they will do it in the conference room. I think Seto has a sexy mind and wants more play with his Yami.

Great story. Kaiba cares he just doesn't show it often enough. He is still too worried about cleanliness but he is getting better. He actually sat with Yami and ignored the mess for a while.
