wow this is a really great continuation of King of Dreams, I really like how you dealt with some of the problems contact betweent the two worlds could cause, and adapting human technology with Akuto was a great idea. Poor, yumemi though, its seems someone is always after her. Hopefully Munto can take care of that now ;)

I read the King of Dreams and liked it a lot, so when I learned there was a follow up I had to read it, here are my thoughts.

1. - So far so good, a promising first chapter of a promising sequel

2.- Well it was a well written chapter but… why would Gunther go to such troubles, infiltrating a school system, setting up trust with the staff and so on, when he could have just kidnapped Yumemi at any point in time in any place? That part didn’t really make that much sense.

3. - Ah! It’s good to see Kazuya, he hardly ever gets any spot light in fanfiction! I don’t know why but Ichiko seemed a little… off in this chapter, so desolate and hopeless, I don’t think she would have settled down so quickly if Yumemi had disappeared and Munto showed up… I think she would have been more pushing everyone to action, fighting to find Yumemi, not sulking around for two weeks waiting for something to happen.

4. - Munto in… street clothes… that’s a strange image! Takashi seems a little off character he just seemed to jump right into everything, even seeming to know who Munto was had he told about him at some point? But other than that he was very in character. The story flow seems a bit choppy, jumping from one place to the next.

5. - Is it just me or are they searching for something that I am not aware of? I get the idea of how they are tracking down where Gunther might be but I’m not getting enough information about what they are coming up with what they know or where they are what places they are begining to suspect where Gunther went… all I know is they are doing something to find Yumemi, this could have used a bit more explanation. Kazuya and Munto’s conversation about parents was out of the blue and a little awkward in the middle of everything… very strange. I would have liked the conversation between Munto and Yumemi’s parents to have lasted a bit longer, it could have turned out wonderfully… but oh well… I did like reading the part of the conversation that we got. Again the story flow seemed pretty choppy.

6. - Not much to say in this chapter, just an ok one.

7.-I liked the way you portrayed Gunther. Things were still a bit choppy though it smoothed out a bit more during Munto’s break in, this chapter was a bit more enjoyable than earlier chapters. But it was sort of… fast… all the previous chapters and then… in one chapter it’s all over, all finished (though it was a longer chapter…)

8. - I would have liked to see the reactions of the others when Munto and Yumemi returned… ah well. I also would have rather Munto and Yumemi talk to Yumemi’s parents about Munto taking Yumemi back to the Magical Kingdom to keep her safe and them agreeing instead of Munto just whisking Yuememi away… not to sure how well her parents would have taken that… Love the very end with the high five :)

9.- The ending, while sweet, didn’t tie up loose ends, like I would have liked the subplot of Ichiko vs. Munto tied up a bit better, and everyone else just seemed to have been forgotten in the world below…

All in all, sort of disappointing, I liked the main idea behind the story but the execution was a little lacking and choppy. Though I did really like some parts of it, and there are some very interesting ideas in the story, it didn’t live up to the King of Dreams or my expectations and it was only an ok sequel to the King of Dreams. (Sorry about the length of this review)

You could have tied up the whole yumemi-ichiko subplot better, like maybe her point of view at the end or some closure. Otherwise, Well done!
