I can already tell this is gonna be one of my favourite firefly fics, Kaylee is my favourite charater and you write her as you write all the other charaters so beautifully. I can't wait to read on and see how you explore Kaylees reactions to coping after Early and how protective the crew is of her.

This story has been such a help in filling the Firefly-shaped void in my heart. I really felt like I was in the 'verse!

This is a sweet story, sensitive and tender, just as Kaylee and Simon appear in the original. You’ve also captured the other characters well, and I like it that even though the story focusses on Kaylee and Simon, all of the crew have a part to play. The plot of the story is very plausible, and it’s a good point that Kaylee doesn’t simply get ill for mysterious reasons, but that she is the only one who had no vaccinations.

I’d have enjoyed this story even more with a little bit of polishing on the text. There were some issues with capitalisation and commas in speech tags, and I always find it awkward when characters are referred to by their function (“the mechanic” or, worse, “the cheerful mechanic”) when their name or a pronoun would do. But these are minor issues. Overall, I liked it very much. Thanks for the read.

Oh. My. God. This is truly the best fan fiction ever written and holy crap. I've never read anything that was able to capture the beauty and chemistry between the firefly characters. You absolutly nailed the dialogue and your writing is so descriptive, I felt like I was watching the story play out in front of me. This was so perfect I cried. Such an amazing fan fiction to compare to such an amazing show (and movie). This was amazing. Thank You.
