I have read a few Prowl and Jazz slash fics by other authors, but your visualization is more inline with my thoughts. The “rumor-mill has it… ” slant is certainly convincing. Jazz and Prowl keep (unintentionally) adding more fuel to the already burning fire. I’m sure Bluestreak will live up to his name and babble about what he thinks he saw.

Fans seem to be focused on the opposites attract pitch, but I could and would only write them as friends. From what I can gather, close friendships between men are still considered out of the ordinary in society. Women, however, are allowed to be familiar in their friendships without having the burden of a romantic connotation. The whole situation is a little foreign to me as I’ve never been one for the silly concepts of full machismo or daintiness. Both - males and females - possess the gifts to forge strong, platonic relationships with the same or opposite gender.

Now, as I seem to be getting off-track, I’d like to add that I like the final two lines. They sum up the prompt perfectly. And, you may want to come back to this if you’ve the time. A few spelling mistakes are present.
