Ah, I see. It is about a Chao, Chaos Chao judging from its advanced age. It was around when Papa (Chaos 0-Perfect) watched over the Emerald Shrine, and took care of the Chao. Tikal became the Chaos' sarrogate mother. It saw her vanish to seal Chaos and then vanish again to take him away to parts unknown.

This was truely awe-inspiring. Well written, and a basic, but very well thought out premise.

It's a very good perspective on the way real life works. We love our parents as kids, and even as we age, we still wish things were like before. Oh...

Just who is the character in the story? I'm guessing either Tikal or one of the Chao? Sorry, I'm not good at reading perspective...

I would have to agree with the last comment. It wasen't crummy at all. It was a bit sad, but only talent like yours could execute it fairly. Nice writing.
