S'probably my favourite chapter out of all of these. I've always loved the "Matt-lived-Mello-didn't" scenario, or vice versa. I haven't come to terms yet which one I like more. XD I like it as a fanon thing, and just as a one-shot; it's heart-breaking enough in a one-shot.

But yeah. Anyway, I was reading through these again, because I love all these pieces, and I had forgotten how much this one touched me. The whole part about Mello "all but ordering Near watch out for you in the end" KILLED me in a good way. :c

I know I'm a ninny but their tragic situations just tear my heart as if they were real.

I think that's one of the best compliment you can make to a writer, I feel like Matt and Mello are alive when you write about them and I feel how they hurt, how they love and how they wait to die.

There are tears on my laptop. I'm pitiful. Because of you. You write too well not to bear into my heart.

I was listening to the Fray "How to Save A Life" and reading. I mean the other chapters are good really but this one is just extraordinary.

I can see Matt talking, I can see his eyes and Mello just awesome Mello who wants and can't say what's in his heart because he's hiding everything from everyone for too too long.

You made me cry alright.

I've been trying to picture Mello the faery, and the image comes out looking good, but then his clothes morph into leather and I end up giggling about it.
