That was just...I can so easily see this happening. All of them supporting Alex because as much as they all care about Izzie, if and when she dies, it will hit Alex the hardest. I mean, he told her he loved her and for Alex, that is a huge step. He's finally opening up and letting himself be happy and his world has been ripped out from under him. His eyes absolutely broke my heart in the last episode when Cristina told him and Bailey about Izzie. It always seems so much to me when an actor is limited to only using their eyes and can express that...broken-ness so well.

Alex's freak out in the cafeteria and Derek trying to talk to him was just...*huggles Alex* And Bailey and Callie taking the machines away, so simple and an obvious need in a hospital, but you got it so that it hurt to read them do it.

It's sad that the thing to bring them all really together will probably be Izzie's death. They're all going to need each other so much more than they have before.

You do love writing Alex completely shattered. Have I told you I love you for that?

Oh, I am so glad I read this. I was online to look and see if anyone had written any O/C but even without O/C this was definitely worth the read. Yay.

I wish we could have seen a little bit more of Izzie's reaction/interaction with others before her death, but I can see why we didn't get to see that, as well.

Though I did love this. You got into them so much and I can easily see Alex doing that when and if Izzie does die. And you know me, Callex fan, my mind let me see Callie stepping forward as a little hint that she'll be the one to put him back together and fall for each other. But that won't happen. I know you're not a Callex fan. *sigh*
