I'm enjoying the course of this story greatly, although I feel that it is progressing at a rather fast pace. There's something charming about it and it gets down to the point without having to jump through loop holes. Admittedly, having Piccolo contemplate sexual relations with Goku or ChiChi right off the bat is a bit awkward even though it was explained in brief, but such is the nature of these kinds of stories and I honestly wouldn't be reading it if I wasn't interested ;)! I look forward to reading the rest of the chapters you've posted, but thought that at this point in the game it was time to make note! You're doing a good job with the writing!

I really liked this a lot. For some reason, I'm fascinated by Chi-Chi/Piccolo interactions. Personally I like to think that during the 7 years post-Cell when Goku was gone, that perhaps Piccolo spent a lot of time at the Son household looking after after them, and the two of them became closer.

I'm sure whatever epilogue you post will be magnificent. I'm looking forward to it!

Never have I read a Piccolo -&- Chichi story that nails the nuances of both characters with as much accuracy, sensitivity, and charm as in this story. The only other fanfic that it can be compared to is Onyx's masterpiece, "The Long Goodbye". If you haven't read that one, you've really got to, since it's essentially your DBZ fanfic bedfellow at this point. You have here a superbly written piece of fiction. Chichi and Piccolo are always so fascinating to see together, provided they're written with confidence. I really hope you'll update this story soon.

I'm afraid I'm a few days behind on reviewing this new chapter. I was recently vacationing in England, and I didn't have the capability of reviewing anything on (and for what it's worth, I did check this story almost every day for updates - what can I say, you've got me hooked, even overseas!)

I really can't thank you enough for continuing this story. I agree with the reviewer before me, these ruminations seem so very, very Piccolo-esque; his utter disdain for humanity, the apathy towards people and their problems, and the threat of impending boredom upon dominating earth were all wonderful slices of his character. He's so often seen just hovering above the ground with his arms folded and his eyes closed, it's hard to tell exactly what sorts of bleakly humorous things go through his head about the species that he spends most of his time with. But I do believe that they are first of all bleak, and second of all, humorous. And that's precisely why I believed everything you wrote here. You really seem to know this guy.

This story is a gem! I can't wait to read the rest! Thank you once again for taking the time to write, edit, and post this.

Excellent story. I love the dynamic you have going between Piccolo and Chi-chi. They are very much themselves. I have to say though, I really liked this chapter, despite it's shortness. I don't think they ever really covered Piccolo's basic thoughts and feelings about humans in general, but I imagine this is fairly close to it. That last line made me giggle, I can picture it so clearly in my head. I hate screaming children in waiting rooms.

I love this story! The last sentence in this chapter made me laugh so hard. You have a talent of conveying multiple thoughts and actions at the same point and allowing the story to flow more evenly! Can't wait for the next chapter!
