An absolutely crackerjack story that has not been updated in three and half years. Too bad!

I like this story. There's an edge of realism to it that I often find lacking from stories in the genre. I've read stories where Harry's mind and soul are seriously altered, and he kind of shrugs and goes about his day. I think the idea of a year of recovery makes more sense. I like your take on Bella, and Sirius' death. I think the conversation with Narcissa and Draco was a bit confusing, mostly, their motivations for asking what they did. That area could have been better. Overall, though, I enjoyed your story, and would like to read more if you ever return to writing on this one.

Really enjoying this story, but it needs a little action from the Death Eaters. Intrige is find but less cerebral and more action/adventure please.

In my opinion, your story is one out of a million ones of those Post OotP stories that actually make FUCKING sense and is FUCKING believable! I can't believe that you don't have more accolades for this fic.

Can't believe I missed this damn fic. It's abit hard to follow, but its very well written and nicely plotted out. Your apparent relationship between Hp/Hr isn't rushed. The chars don't act OOC and are generally in character, and the little bit about Sirius seriously confunded me. (I figured it out the 2nd time reading)

What dwells in you, is more your mother's essence than what we could identify as Harry Potter - when i first saw that line my first thought was "lilly was reborn as a man! WIERD!" but then it started to make sense..gotta stop jumping to conclusions around potter

so not really harry, but is still harry, and still has the curse scar but instead of a whiny slit-nosed snake loving half blood, he has his godfather...can harrys life POSSIBLY get any more messed up?

Huh... this is a that kind of story that exposes just how much a reader is willing to suspend his or her disbelief when reading a story, the kind where you read it then want to slap yourself upside the head for putting no thought into something whatsoever. It's very interesting. It is at times somewhat hard to read due to awkward prose and shifting perspectives, but it's also very rewarding. I know that it's highly unlikely to ever be continued, but I really enjoyed it. I hope to see more.

Other than the abrupt end (and the confusion and need to find out what the hell is going on), this was an excellent start.

Totally sucked in - encouragement, encouragement, encouragement - you can do it! Great characterization, I really would like to see Dumbledore taken down in style - which you supply in spades. I like the heavier tone of your writing, it's a bit like wading through ancient waters. Deep green, and odd things float up unexpectedly!

Lots of threads going on here and it should be interesting to see how they weave together. Methinks Dumbles is going to be rather worked up over his "tool" not being at his immediate beck and call anymore as well as having various other resources removed from his control; that has to really hurt the old control freak. I do like how things are developing between Harry & Hermione and I suspect there'll be more developments there. I suspect the break with the majority of the Weasleys may well be permanent, which well may be for the best, overall.
