Hello there! I don't know if you come back to this account ever, but if you do, I wanted you to know that even now 6-11 years later, people are still finding and reveling in your storytelling.

This story moved me, quite thoroughly. It was stuck on my mind in the time between when I was physically sitting and reading. You made this whole healing process very real and very visceral. I have never interacted with someone - personally - who has experienced such trauma, so my perception is admittedly limited, but the whole story felt so real and believable and I could still relate.

I laughed, and you got me to tear up and have a lip wibble, and I swooned at times. So, thank you for this journey! I hope you are well, and I hope you are still creating.

I really enjoyed this. I liked that being gay wasn't easy and being out wasn't something they took lightly. I liked how Squall flailed a bit but always still Squall - tough and disciplined. I love that Selphie figured it out ages ago. And I loved that none of the main characters were bad guys - not even Odine! Great fic. Thank you.

I don't review very often, but I wanted to say how much I loved this story - it was heart-wrenching in places, and I teared up a time or two, but still I really appreciated that there was no magical cure, that Squall had to learn to live with his disability the 'normal' way. I love fantasy/sci-fi, but the miraculous cures can get a bit frustrating - the characters don't learn and grow that way. And they really did in this one, and you can see it all through the story.

I honestly thought we'd never see the end. I thought this would be one of those fics lost to time and lack of motivation, but here it is! And it doesn't even sound like one of those, "I forgot what I was doing so here, have an end," fics, lawl.

Irvine irritated me throughout this whole thing, but I wasn't here for him. I was here for Seifer and Squall, and I loved Seifer and Squall. I have a /special/ love for Squall sparring again, as there was never any reason he couldn't use his weapon. Seifer hiding under a rock until the book is published is hilarious and I think Selphie's toast was /perfect/.

I enjoyed this muchly; thank you so much for not losing it!

That was a really good story. Squall very angsty but under this circumstances understandable. How do you know so much about blindness? The ending and epilog is the best. I love happy endings.

Yay, Squall has finally tumbled head over heels out of the closet! Now it's time for the angsty backlash.

I just read most of this story in one of my reading marathons. I enjoyed the entire thing. I am now curious about that World Council meeting.

Squall is such a strong character but the last two chapters were just heart wrenching...do update soon...I love this story!

I was afraid of this moment. The moment I come to the end of what has been written. On one hand, I'm very glad there is going to be more. Personally I thought all of the chapters were good ones. I would have never guessed that you first started this story at sixteen. You didn't come across as a child. This story is a really good one and I am grateful to have found it.

This chapter was wonderful. Seifer came and was able to talk to Squall and figure out why he had run off. What he wanted to do. Squall's reaction to his memory returning was frighteningly real. Great job with that. The scene was so tender and sweet. I really look forward to reading the next chapter. I hope you are able to finish it soon.
