Love this story. Sad to see you haven't updated in quite a while. I have always liked stories where Harry is rescued as a youngster. Hope you are going to finish this some day. Would be sad if you didn't. I hope there will be Dumbledore bashing.

A very sympathetic Ms Weasley you've described here, even her suicide was rather convincingly described. Then she gets sent back, finds herself in a completelly foreign surroundings and masters it... yes, i like the plot a lot... maybe not the part where she gets started in her new life and so much is explained and prepared for her, but if you don't want to "go in cold" and show Rose living the new life without too much memories of the old life using flashbacks to present what little information about the reasons for her mission and the backgrounds of her objectives, this is probably the least annoying way to do it. Still it had a lot of the mandatory shopping spree sequence of similar stories or "independent Harry" ones which also tries to kickstart a whole narration in a single chapter and therefore more often than not fails it's task...

But at least it's over soon and after Harry comes to her it's once again a solid and cunning narration with a lot of detail invested into the telling of the story... The medical examination was a brilliant scene and the healer is a nice OC whom one believes the level of professional knowledge he demonstrated.

Well a pity you never managed to find Hermione and introduce her to Harry and her never-to-be daughter (of course in this story the probability that any daughter Harry and Hermione will conceive in the far distant future will be named after the nice lady that rescued Harry from his vile relatives and showed them both the wonders of the magical world so Rose will live on in another Rose... maybe even literally? 38 is not too old to be pregnant and bring a new life into this world and Rose has got the promise she would only become 50 in this life... ), the beginnings of the story were very enjoyable and seeing it continued would be fun!

It really is too bad that this fic seems abandoned. :(

An interesting story but I find it sad to think Hermione would do that with the effect on her daughter. I gather for the blood ward to be recharged Harry would have to regard this as his new home and be with a blood relative which would mean that Rose is his daughter. Ron will always be the bad guy as he never grew up and Hugo was on his way to the same life.

Your story has good future as you already know that Dumbledore and Molly are bad and manipulative and with Molly, Ron and Ginny do not have a chance.

So when does Harry meet Hermione?
