Haha! Brilliant... I agree that she can be paired with anybody. And of all the pairings, I think Ashe/Basch is the most taboo (Age-wise, there is 17 years difference between them and only 6 between her and Larsa).

But the story... it is excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Your writing is exceptional. And the story put a smile on my face.

I can't believe it's the only one of its kind... but thankfully the quality more than makes up for it (just like The Last Unicorn lol). Bravo! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fic, you certainly portrayed Larsa and Ashe well. From the chancellor's fussing to Larsa's clangers, I loved it. Especially the end. Sly dog xD

A decade has passed, the young lord has grown into a man, yet his adored one won't take notice of it for she still sees him as his 12 year-old self. The struggle to change his image from a sibling into a potential spouse, all the while trying to advocate peace in Ivalice and making amends for his predecessors' sins, much to his Senate's chagrin... It makes for a great plot, no?

Now, a number of people will jump at my throat for even suggesting this. Because it's 'taboo'? Please. If anything it is one of the most probable pairings to happen. If we consider Ashe's status as queen only few could possibly be chosen as her husband. He'd have to have at least a title or great political influence, so no sky pirate, street rat or king slayer (regardless if it worked in Star Wars). And even if Ashe swung the other way, Dalmasca needs an heir to the throne, so um, yeah. Narrowing the choices down to Larsa, Al-Cid or another noble whose reputation is still intact. One can't be too picky here. And what are seven years? Certainly no hindrance in the eyes of royalty. If her husband is of age!

It is a mystery to me why people are so averse to it. Personally, I consider Gabranth/Larsa or Vayne/Larsa a lot more dare I say disgusting? Not condemning anyone, just saying that it has a too strong paedo flavor for my taste.

Well this was a lovely story!

You know how I really feel...but I thought you did very well with this, especially with the flowers. I like the meaning behind it. It's not Basch/Ashe and yeah the thought of AsheXlarsa does make me shiver...but you've written this with beautiful flare.

Huh! Evidently you CAN pair Ashe with anyone in the cast! It sort of is a taboo pairing, to be sure, but you pulled it off with aplomb. 'Twas a sweet story, and well-written.

One thing, though. I caught a few typos and a few grammatical errors. I know, I'm nit-picky. But beyond the odd typo and misplaced comma, I thought this was a great tale. Nicely done.
