This was really fantastic. You fit everything I love about Addison and Mark's relationship into this fic; the pain between them, and Addison's deep love for Mark.

I'd like to say...(the first paragraph is something I just felt like writing, but rambling about my feelings toward Madison probably doesn't have any value for you, so you can just skip to the second one :D)
When talking about my attitude towards Maddison, I'm not sure, how I felt about them when I first started watching GA, but I think I liked them. But my favorite couple was always MerDer and (though I feel a little ashamed of it now) I even recall being fond of Addisex. It wasn't until long after, and I'm sure it had something to do with finding this website and reading fanfictions (I probably just curiously clicked on one which said it was about Maddison, and since then I couldn't stop reading fanfics about this couple), that I realized Addisex ruined one of my fav couples. And meanwhile Addie left Seattle, I got more into reading fanfiction (not just about Maddison, but somehow these fics always catched my attention) and I found myself wishing more and more that they'd get back together. Still, that thought didn't bother me too much until S9 premiere, when I realized they lost their last chance, and that was when I became obsessed with them.

Going through fics about them is a part of it and that's why I came through this one, written in 2009, only a few days ago. And I can say I've never read a better fanfiction! I mean...it made me fall in love with Maddison all over again, I kept looking forward to reading more chapters (because I didn't read it all at once) and during many moments in this story I kinda felt butterflies in my stomach. The one that was most shocking (in a good way) for me was when I found out that Addie was actually the blonde girl on Santorini (chapter 6)! I can't say I was paying attention all that much when Mark occationally thought of her before, but when I read that chapter, I realized, how brilliantly is this story written and I got into it like...for real :).
Also, when Sage wished upon a star that Addie was his mom, and when it got confirmed in chapter 10...I mean, him so hopefully asking: "Mom?" was just too adorable 3.
What I thought before about the paternity of Sage...I don't know, I supposed I'd find out later, for a second I even thought that Mark might father him, but it didn't come together this perfectly in my mind, I thought it involved some other, not yet mentioned moment and it was all going to be explained later. The other possibility was that whoever was Sage's father, it didn't really matter, cos Mark would be this amazing father figure nonetheless (like he said in chapter 17: "I wanna watch his socer games and yell louder than all the other dads, because that's my son kicking their kid's asses." :))
And I always thought Mark confessing his love to Addie this adorably (I think it was also in chapter 17) would be OOC, but it was just perfect. ;)
Yeah, and the other great thing...Mer and Addie taking turns by the toilet bowl :D. I was sure that Mer would be pregnant, I wasn't so sure about Addie, I don't know why...maybe I didn't ruminize over it all that much, the fact that Addie slept with Mark in chapter 3 didn't come to my mind instantly, or I just thought that storyline would be too idealistic. But you managed to write it the way it wasn't cheesy. I loved how they both didn't find out for like two chapters and then suddenly Mer was sure what was happening and how she said: "I think we're going to need two." :D And when Addie snapped at Naomi: "You said it was impossible!", that was amazing ;)
But when I read in the epilogue that Addie and Mark in the end had four kids and the fifth on the way, it felt a little...I don't know...rushed? It might be the one thing I didn't like quite as much about this fic.
I'm sure there were many other great moments in this it (like when Derek was the first to understand Mark was Sage's father and he wanted to hurt him, but then just thought Addie was always Mark's, even before she was his), but I can't really recall them all right now and this review already feels like too much. :D
Just...thank you for this fic, that became my favorite, like ever ;) :D, and I know you haven't posted a fic on this site for like 3 years, but believe me, I'd really like to read another brilliant Maddison AU from you. :)

Loved this story as well, it kept me on the edge of my seat...Loved Sage and you have made me believe that in a perfect world, Meredith and Addison could be friends! I enjoyed how you put this together using the storyline of August Rush...this was better than the actual movie! I was almost in tears when Mark found out that Sage was his son. And I love how you seem to share my disdain for Lexie Grey! all in all fantastic story

I started reading this story a couple of days ago and I finally finished reading it tonight. I really enjoyed it and I certainly loved the mix of all the characters of Grey's Anatomy and PP that were put in. I so much enjoyed more the ending of Mark and Addison together because I really think they had great chemistry on the show. Pity the writers of GA sent Addie of to LA. Thanks so much for sharing.

At first I was looking for MerDers but then I couldn't find enough stories over 60k words, so I looked for Mark/Lexies but now I am totally in love with Maddisons! :L

Aw! I'm so sad it's over it's so bittersweet. Maddison belongs together this is my only conclusion. I'm going to cry, and then I'm going to go lay in front of shondas car and be like I won't move until Maddison are together! And then she'll run over me but whatever

Anyways, beautiful and lovely as always, I love the final reference to the key and how they figure out that after all these years its always been the two of them.
