I enjoyed this one. Thought it was complete right up to the end but it was still fun to read.

Sorry to see that this was never finished, but I am sure you had your reasons. Parvati not being a popular choice lets you avoid so many of the tropes that have developed around other less fleshed out women such as Daphne Greengrass, which is a huge plus. Let’s you develop a real character with her instead of a caricature based on a thousand stories before you.

Also the romance was slow in building, which is much more realistic for a girl the main character barely knows, and was in no way the central pillar of the story. Nothing wrong with a pure romance, but too many stories try to combine an adventure heavy plot driven story with a heavy romance and fluff driven story and end up being terrible at both. Overall you had me staying up late to finish what you did write, so even in an unfinished state I would like to say thank you and well done.

It’s a shame this story has been abandoned, it’s really good. The characters are a lot better fleshed out than many other fics. And the sheer level of manipulation Dumbledore is capable of being shown is very well done. It’s even mostly canon too, if you pay attention when reading the books. Afterall, how could Dumbledore know to have McG watching the Dursleys for 24 hours before placing Harry with them, if the Potters has only been dead for less than 6? It’s canon, but never brought up

Why doesn't Croaker sneak Harry into the DOM to get the prophecy? Seems the most logical thing to do.
