For some reason, the image keeps coming to mind of Nightcrawler going around on all fours with one three-year old mini of himself attached to his underside and the other on his back...kinda like a monkey. No offense to Nightcrawler, of course, but I'm suddenly seeing him as the very motherly-er, fatherly type.

Anyway, very interesting and fun story. I was a bit surprised when Kurt wouldn't trust the Professor enough to tell him about it. I guess Goldfinch was clouding his judgment a bit, but still.

Ooh, this story was really, really, horrendously, frighteningly AMAZING. The whole thing was so developed, from the plot to the characters... even the OC's had a lot of personality (the twins were so CUTE!) and in spite of the angst, it has loads and loads of humour (which is good).

Charles has hairy arms (*oh look! He *does* have fur!*) and Nightcrawler’s amusing tendency to pass out at interesting moments, along with Hitchhiker’s Guide references (What do you get if you multiply six by seven? 42.) And ELFQUEST! Great series (Skywise...). Gotta love the subliminal hinting!

And then there's my personal game of seeing how many references I recognize. Many, in this case! It gives me new hope… maybe if I read the same things as a good author, I can BE a good author… (Princess Bride-check. Planet of the Apes-check. Sherlock Holmes-check. The Simpsons-no da! (from Fushigi Yuugi—I can do referencing too! _). Calvin and Hobbes-check (*hearts*). Terry Pratchett-check (I even recognized the line—woohoo!). South park-check. Wizard of Oz-check (THAT one made me laugh. A lot. And then I stopped because the story was so angsty…)

Anyways... I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I only wish I could've reviewed it sooner- I read it yesterday but the Internet ended up... err, well, ended up NOT in any condition for me to do anything with it (*sob sob*).

This is an amazing story! Good work going into Kurt's past. I haven't read many fics where that is done well, but you seem to have it somewhat mastered. You manage to capture Kurt in a way few others have.

I liked seeing where references in your story came from. Most of them I was familiar with, but couldn't quite place. Once again I have to say that this is a GREAT story!

Awesome story! I love it! Can you do a sequel about raising the little fuzzy elves? Or at least a sidestory? I want more!

I just recently started an X-Men Evolution story... oddly enough, with three Kurts. I didn't even know about yours until someone pinged my reviews and told me that this story existed. I swear it wasn't intentional. Besides the fact that there are three of them, the story is completely different, I swear!

Either way, can you write more on this? The tiny fuzzballs are cute. _

it took me three days to read this, but i'm finally done! this was probably the cutest kurt-centered fic i've ever read...and i usually hate OC's but the twin were way to adorable...and kurt acting like a father-figure...cute cute cute! bravo to you for such an enjoyable read '-)
