Guest chapter 1 . 10/28/2012 Awesome-sauce. The last line is the perfect red bow and the story proceeding it does the show complete justice |
TheMissMod chapter 1 . 5/24/2011 I know I'm very late reading this, but I just wanted to say how awesome it is! I had Don Draper's voice in my head the whole time, even though I doubt that was the intention! XD |
dekita chapter 1 . 1/17/2011 Hah loved the ending, though this seemed like it was written about Don Draper, but nonetheless a good story. |
Hahukum Konn chapter 1 . 8/30/2009 I really like this. :D I especially like how applicable it is to Don Draper. :) |
mrscribble chapter 1 . 8/13/2009 I love how this perfectly reflects the front that Don especially holds up... I wish I could describe what I mean but I really don't know how to put it into words. Wonderful. |
Penny Dreadful chapter 1 . 4/10/2009 Great! The last sentence made it, of course! Perfect tone. Just very well done. |
Clockwork-Hobo101 chapter 1 . 3/21/2009 Oh, I loved this. There was something so detached about the way you wrote it, which for me works perfectly with the show- that slow, pacing that's very controlled; nothing frenzied or rished about it. Really fantastic. |
wildcard47 chapter 1 . 3/14/2009 Oh, this was lovely! You captured the atmosphere of SC and it's hidden underworld so skillfully. Favorite line: "The Sterling Cooper man is strong. He goes out and parties with gorgeous women with his clients one night, and then gets up and goes to work looking pristine...When he goes out, he makes sure his date's cocktail looks more dressed up than his own, because women should have a little flash in their lives." Very well done. |
The Modren Man chapter 1 . 3/1/2009 MAD MEN FIC! What a rare sighting. Not enough written, that you are right. Now, to say that you honor the creators of Mad Men, I cannot verify. Heck, I can't verify if I've honored the creators. But you did a fantastic, utterly fantastic job. I subtly saw the ending coming from the fact that all the men at Sterling Cooper never do fit the guidelines of the Sterling Cooper man. The repetition works, although it did seem overboard in some of the shorter sentences. Then again, I am guilty of that. The details to seem to pull it all together. Was an enjoyable read and I'm glad it's an addition to this small collection of stories. |
