I must say, I didn't expect that at all. I like Tonks as a character but I respect you decision to move away from canon and I'm excited to see where this goes!

Okay, so you can tell that I continued reading, even if through my fingers! Great story, well written, great character development, and of course, you have the ability to draw the reader in. In your profile you stated that this isn't finish but won't be abandoned, that you are doing something else. Well, I truly hope that you eventually (soonest) will come back. Closure is a great thing! Good luck on what you do now, but please consider dusting off your Sitra Ahra muse.

What is a Fireborn? Does Harry have a soul leach/Horcrux? Will Sirius be able to be free and survive? Will Remus be a good guy in your story? Will Harry remember what locked behind in his mind and still be sane? Will he still be himself? Will it be enough? Will he gain more allies or lose those he has? Will the Flamels survive? Can there be a happy ending? Is the Vatican group going to come to Hogwarts? will The Toad send her minions to attack Harry? Or, will we be able to cheer when she is used as a potion ingredient by our erstwhile Potion Master?
All these and many, many more questions are in need of answering! Thanks for the story, even if I was a tad horrified at parts...

I don't know how many times I am reading this, when my jaw drops down in disbelief. Hermione? Arg! And the, whew! Eegods, so much intensity that I am both trying to hide from it and devour it simultaneously.

Did Luna mean poison with words, poison his spirit?
Could the Diary be the artifact that is causing everyone to go insane? Why isn't it effecting Hermione and Neville? Why is it effecting those in other Houses? Is it something else? And to top it off, there are only three more chapters left before you stopped posting! Arg!

Oh, I hope you get Sirius out! Perhaps poor Octavius too. I've always felt JKR was so unfair to Sirius. He barely got a start to his adult life, then wrongly imprisoned. He had no one to be his advocate - like Snape had Dumbles - and then when he had a taste of semi-freedom, he was killed, much to the anguish of Harry. I hope in fanfics that it can be rectified. cross fingers
