Another "Wow" here, but a different kind of "Wow." I DID NOT see this fic ending like that! That was fantastic. I'm sure Sweets was using both hands (and also asking strangers on the street) to pat himself on the back for THAT productive and revealing little session.

That is a fun little scenario for how they could have cut through all the crap (to put it in an unsympathetic manner), in regards to insecurities and fear of loss and abandonment, a long time ago. I'm not meaning to minimize what Brennan has been through in her life, but it's nice to think about an alternate-reality where they both speak the truth and what they feel a whole lot sooner without sacrificing characterization in the story. Excellent job.
