I just watched Hetalia eppy 20, the ending of America's storage cleaning (for the second time; re-watching the series) and for some strange reason, even though I kinda wanted to cry - AGAIN - at the UKUSA stuff, when I saw Lithuania...HE LOOKED LIKE SUCH A GIRL THAT I WANTED TO READ SOME JUICY ALFRED/TORIS-MESSING-WITH-THE-MAID FIC.

There! I said it! _;

Ooh, but this is SO much better. This one actually satisfies me so that I don't have to read another one! (Usually, when I have a strange craving to go on about a random craving...randomly, I'll have to read two or three, and look at some deviantart fanfiction before I calm down and get back to homework or something.) XD

This was so awesome, I'm probably going to read this again and again for each section I finish during the Great Depression! I just KNOW that's what's gonna happen! XD Swear!

*calming sigh*

Well, thanks for the awesome read, for writing a historically accurate fanfiction, for satisfying a reader completely of Amerithuania interest, and for not giving me anything to really constructively critique in the whole story.

As a beta, I'm absolutely astounded at how much you were able to continuously say that people were losing jobs, America was losing trust, and his fading of enthusiasm - three basic and simple things - but every time the subject was mentioned you were able to go off on something heart-turning, something...that makes restating those simple facts about the Great Depression more meaningful and...heart-tugging as the story continued- through each and every paragraph, building the sympathy and admiration the reader has for America slowly, but surely. ~

:) To summarize, I loved and will always love it.

I love your style, it's so easy to read (L) and the description of how Alfred felt all the while, and his thoughts about being a hero-that was sad t-t

When did he become so important to world affairs anyway? Alfred only wanted to be his own man, his own country. He wants to be a hero, too, but he is failing at that spectacularly. In the end, he knows it is his own fault that he is so annoyingly necessary to the world. -I love this paragraph. I can imagine him thinking that, and feeling the weight of being so important to the other countries..
