it was very beautiful when Tsuyoshi asked to see the box weapon infused Shigore Soen Ryuu.

This is incredible. Seeing things through Tsuyoshi's eyes is fascinating. You really captured the POV of a parent. I love how Takeshi diffuses information about what he's done and what he's doing, seeking guidance, and how Tsuyoshi takes all of it in stride. Gosh, every time I read one of your stories, I can feel an atmosphere. This time, I could feel such fondness in their father-son relationship. There's so many great things about this story and clearly you did your research. I appreciate that. I loved the scenes with Squalo. They're hilarious Takeshi really does have a wicked sense of humour. But the clincher for me was the ending. I can imagine their smiling faces as Takeshi is reunited with his box animals and showing the forms of Shigure Souen that he waited longingly for, and that's when I start getting a little emotional. Your incredible writing puts me to shame and yet I can still say, "Good job."

The dialogues between..well everyone was brilliant and so in character.

It's me again, heh. When I find a good author around here, I go and see what else they've written, and read them over a period of time.

I'm extremely impressed with this piece. We need more good writing like this around here, especially stories not focused on just pairings.

I like how you used "Takeshi" instead of "Yamamoto," like most stories (even mine, I admit). It adds a more personal touch to describing the father and son bond.

The research you did...it makes everything come alive! It's believable, I find.

All in all, wonderfully written fan fic here. :)

That... was beautiful. I really enjoyed reading this. I love seeing things from a side-character's perspective. Reading this from Tsuyoshi's point of view was ver exciting. I think you wrote this rather well. The parts with Squalo had me laughing my head off.
