WOW! What a delightful surprise to read a Kaine fanfic! Kaine is my favorite short story by Kaori Yuki, and it is not as well known as it ought to be. You've really captured the tormented soul of Kaine, and Die's protective love for him. The way the dialogue from the original story was worked into your fic was seamless and effective. The mood of the fic was intense and angsty- which suited the characters perfectly. Well done, and it was a treat to read!
