Good story and great detail.

Yeah, the mode doesn't make much sense.

" Yeah, Louie!"

" LEt's fight to the death over marbles, cherries, and the pride of a victory of a pointless war!"

" But what about the debt?"

" Ah, f*uck the debt, c'mon! It'll be fun!"

" Oh fine..."

Five matches later.

" Louie, you sure you want to keep playing? I mean, its 5 to 0."

" No, I will win!"

YEah, I think Nintendo was butchered with emails "MAKE A 2 PLAYER MODE!11!ELEVEN11!1!" and were running out of ideas.

But there's challenge mode...

Anyways, this was well written, and suprisingly actiony and sad for a Pikmin fiction. Especially for a guylike me.

Friend: Hey, man, What are you going to do at the perplexing pool? I mean, you beat the game...

Me; You'll see...

5 minutes later

Friend: I can't believe you killed all your Reds, all your purples, all your blues, half your yellows, and 1 white. AND the president.

Me: But the bloyster makes a funny sound when he eats Pikmin.

Friend: (sighs)

Me: Seriously! It's hilarious! HE sneezes out his tongues!

Anywyas, nice job, cool oneshot, etc. etc. etc.

Nice work, I never knew that Pikmin fights in 2-player could be so involved. But it's like WW1, the soldiers often gossiped before they went over the top, and probably died. Nice job, again.

I'm kidding. Anyway, it was awesome. Though it seemed just a little bit slow during the fight sequence, it was good. You could've put more of an emphasis on his rapid introduction into the reality of it all, however.

I really liked this oneshot; the atmosphere, the nomenclature (pikmin being called their numbers)...it was great. I idea of cherries being 'useless', as one of the red pikmin said, is vey interesting; it connects to the sort of awkward irony of the story, with the possibility of a 'useless' war.

The description was fantastic. The one thing that is the best imprinted in my mind was the invisible horde of blues-I could sense the nervousness and fear of the reds as the blue mass advanced towards them, the small bits of dirt at their feet the only sign of their march through the dim caverns. Suffice to say, this was awesome.
