This story is really beautiful and the touch of humor at the end was perfect.

Oh, wow. This was definitely a great read, as far as a Naruto story will go. You captured the characters perfectly, if we ignored the sexual orientation of the canon story characters. Sakura, very accurately loving (assuming) Sasuke, Naruto, loving Sasuke (there was a whole arc on chasing Sasuke, so we can definitely see the infatation.) And Sai being used. In the anime, (I don't read the Naruto manga), while Sai was definitely going undercover for the Root, I felt he was under appreciated by his teammates. And his teammates, also misunderstanding with bias early on when Sai was introduced. If the canon story was more jaded, cynical and 'realistic' (instead of melodrama, humor and action), I believe such scenarios have the possibility of happening.

Additionally, you also used Kiba, another character who is often not written about, due to his popularity. You already captured my attention for writing a Sai-centric story (Sai is undoubtedly one of my favorite Naruto characters) and adding Kiba as another protagonist? You really got me hooked. Of course, both got their happy ending in the canon story, but the "what ifs", and if all the characters acted in such a way (in an AU)...but b/c the story is shounen and is already over, all of us know this will never happen. Still, I often read fanfiction just for the "what-ifs", and this story, which was only a simple (but great) one shot hit the mark. Definitely, the lack of grammar mistakes definitely was part of it.

You got me laughing so hard. I love Sai and I love Kiba (especially in this story).

Imagine me chanting: "Great! Great! Great!" and you get close to my inner euphoria.

I- I- Wow. This was amazing! You made me feel so much in this short oneshot that the multichaptered fics I've read recently couldn't even manage! My heart bleeds at Sai's bad experiences, and even more so when Kiba tries and succeeds to make him feel better. I think I'm a little bit in love with you now, author. XD Your writing skills... It's simply amazing.

aw I read this completely at random but it definitely surpassed my expectations & was totally adorable! I'd never even considered this pairing.. which is weird bc I was always trying to think of someone who each of them seemed like they could go with & no one seemed just right. Now I'm really hoping you'll do another bc I bet this pairing is rather obscure :( lol

This was such a beautiful story! It amazing how you can take two characters I would have never thought of together and make them fit so perfectly! My heart ached for Sai and they whole "being used for sex" tied in so nicely to the anime/manga. Please pretty please if u ever feel like writing a few more chapters for this pairing it would be so greatly appreciated!

After the second time reading your oneshot, i'm reviewing.
I loved it! It is one of the two stories that made me fall totally in love with that pairing. I feel Kiba is particularly IC, as well in his thougts as the way he acts.
Then, the story was so sweet but at the same time we can feel so much Sai's sadness that I wish there were a following to see Kiba throw a tantrum against the ones who used him .
Anyway, a great story for a great pair.
