Your style is impeccably good. I honestly feel blessed that I read this. My intentions in drifting through the lighter ZeKa categories were less than pleasant, but this piece just might have moved me enough to change rhyme and reason and actually do something that doesn't involve too much gore or, in a few cases, f(I don't know about people's word filters)ing.

The way Kaname acts in this is an image of him I've rarely seen so clearly. The way you describe him-the bitterness and weaknesses, as well as the strengths-are different from almost any other. And Zero's questions and theories and the corrosive darkness I picture tearing him asunder-all done very, very well. Truthfully, I'm hoping you've written much, much more of this quality, envying how you manage to keep the end in mind and tie it up so gritty, but grand. Not sure if you'll get to be as famous as BlackenedWing or Sagakure, (lightpathetic is a friend) but if you ever feel like coming into our area, I would welcome you and tell everyone I know on here.
