Loved this installment to your delightful series. I adore setting Jim and Ellie actually heal their relationship. I wish this had happened in the show. Nice work.

I know this is an old story but I enjoyed reading it. I hope their will be more of Elle and the Doc I think they are good for each other..

Good start, I wonder if in reality on the show Ellie knows the truth for real about Brass not being her real father? And that's why she's so angry at him. That and because of the fact that he wasn't around much too.

Loved it from beginning to end, looking forward to the next story.

Great job! I'm sorry to see this one end! You did such an amazing job keeping each of the characters in-character, but you gave them a lot of additional depth. I could hear 'their' voices speaking the dialogue...hum, maybe I shouldn't admit I hear voices in my head. (Glances nervously at door hoping Alice isn't sending the guys in the white coats!)

I can't wait to read the rest of Doc's mysterious past. Having Catherine as a role model may be the best thing that could happen to Ellie... besides a new career, her dad and her finally building an adult relationship, and a man that can still be attractive after doing 'that' to a cat. The thrumb rub was a very nice touch (pun intended).

Can't wait for more!

I can just see Jim looking upwards for help as he puts his foot in his mouth the first time and then cringing as he realises his done it again with Catherine. Please update soon - he needs a chance to redeem himself or suffer a little more pain! That way the making up with Caterine would be sweeter!

So Jim says the wrong thing to Ellie and almost says the wrong thing to Catherine and now all the women in his life, except Lindsey, are mad at him. Hopefully, these new developments will allow him to redeem himself. And speaking of new developments, this is really heating up! I'll try to be patient for the next update but it won't be easy.

Not one of his better nights, was it? It takes real talent to piss of two women like that in one go... at least Lindsey is still speaking to him!
